I ran a Spartan obstacle course race wearing this watch case... 8 miles and 24 obstacles. Mud, water, swimming, plenty of climbing, crawling, and even the rope climb. Ruined my shoes, my shorts, and my shirt - but my watch was fine! This case is well-built and it added the protection I needed to keep my watch from getting beat up during my training and the race. The case worked perfectly, and if you abuse it more than I did during this race, I bet it will still be fine. And my watch functions worked perfectly through the case. No problem with reading heart rate or charging. Spend the money and protect your watch.As others here have noted, the strap is a soft silicone and feels great. It makes the watch bulky, but I am a big guy and it still looks good on my wrist. This is a functional addition to my watch - not a fashion statement!

This is the second watch band I have purchased for my Apple Watch. My old one was just like this one, but was several years old and broke on me. I am allergic to the metal in my Apple Watch and this type of band makes it to where I can wear it and not get a swollen and itchy wrist.

I couldn't tell with the photos or videos of this product exactly how it works. It consists of two things. A harder outer shell and a plastic peace that covers the back and sides of the unit and very flimsy in my opinion. The video shows you dunking it in water and soap and in a few seconds pulling it out. What they don't quite tell you is that nothing extra is covering your watch face only the back and sides are covered. So, if anything gets in-between the plastic cover of the bottom and sides like water it could ruin the unit. Also, if you take a hard drop to a gravel road a piece of gravel could still easily crack your screen. I'm not going to test that theory but from the looks of it I don't think I'm going to be using it. Also, the plastic bands seem thicker than the original but more bendable. This is my review of this item I will be sending it back.

Hands down best case made been using this case since series 0 original watch and series 5 but now have ULTRA which I hope they make one need a case for it for the mean time I still use my series 5

i had to request a replacement based on small piece falling off and very easy website to submit request and within 12 hours they approved and shipped new one. the email communication is greatusing it in the pool and outside the watch is in great shape and if i did not have this watch band the watch would not be still looking new ... great product well worth the extra couple of dollars especially if you are outside and wearing it all the time

This is a great case that is super comfortable on my wrist. I work on a beach in Florida and it has done a great job protecting my watch for the most part. The only problem I’ve had with it is that when I’m swimming water does get through the seal and you can see it under the silicone in the back of the watch. It’s not a huge deal because the case is easy to take on and off and the watch itself is water resistant. I have adjusted it multiple times to try and make sure it was in the case properly. Like I said this isn’t a deal breaker and I will continue to use the watch. I have had many compliments on the case as well. Most people with Apple watches don’t have a durable case for their watch. After they see mine and notice how sleek yet durable it is I get a lot of questions and I always give a good recommendation. This is a great case for anyone who spends a lot of time outdoors.

Had a slight issue when it came in but they seller was quick to review our displeasure with the product and sent us a new one fairly quickly. Now that we have one that is functional I gotta tell you, it is the best case that you could put your watch in. My boyfriend does a lot of metal work and this case definitely withstands everything. No water leaks through, so far very minimal scratching and I mean VERY minimal.

I had one of these for several years- worked well, but got old. Have Catalyst phone cases- also generally very good. Bought another watch case recently- this time, gasket wouldn’t fit right, and it leaked. Beyond 30 day Amazon warranty; called Catalyst (who claim 12 month replacement guarantee), and was told that as I bought form a third party dealer through Amazon, even though it was a defective product in sealed packaging, they would not replace- their replacement apparently only if you buy directly from the Catalyst store. Mind you, I do have an email from several days earlier from Catalyst that said that they would replace it.This is the about the most expensive waterproof case for Apple Watch; I’d expect that they would honor a warranty for their defective product whether they sold it directly to me, or they sold it to a middleman, given what they charge. My recent experience with their service department has left me very pissed off, and unlikely to buy another product from Catalyst.
