Danskin Women's Dance Dress w/mesh Skirt

For all dancers- please note that this leo runs very large. If you are familiar with brands such as Capezio, Mondor, Mirella, Bloch, Etc you should probably go down at least a size from what you would take in their leotards. I am 5‘7.5", 34b-26-36, size 4 top/size 6 bottom, rather big by ballet standards. Typically I take a capezio large for girth/torso length as i like my leos to feel like I'm wearing nothing. (I can easily wear a capezio medium but usually choose not to). Although my chest isnt completely flat, in this leo when I cambre forward, You can see my breasts! If you are a dancer with a bigger bust ghis might be the lro for you but if not, dont bother unless you plan on wearing a bra with it. It is not front lined even in the pink (not an issue for me but I know some people may be wondering). The shelf bra is very loose ans is made of an odd material with gathers at the bottom, presumably to accomodate a larger bosom. On me this just translates to unsighlty gather lines being visible through the leo, since mine is pale pink. The bottom and back are cute, I am super disappointed in the top.

This is a great leotard, I think it's going to be one of my all time favorites, about 4 others in my class have bought it. I'm 5'9 and the large is fine, fits perfectly. I bought it in pink and white (that's all they had in my size), and would have bought the other colors as well. I got lots of compliments on it. If you get the lighter colors, make sure to wear lighter colored undergarments. happy dancing.

This is really pretty. It fits fine. I only didn't give it 5 stars because it turns out I'm not a huge fan of white, since it's so very sheer...I feel more self-conscious in it.

I like the look of it, but wish it had a little more back and didn't squish my breasts so much. The skirt part is nice, though.

I think the quality is great, it is a beautiful fit. Non the less the straps are a bit too loose, that is the only problem. Other than that it is a beautiful leotard just as shown in the picture.

This dance dress is adorable! I've worn it several times and it holds up great. I wear a lot of leotards and the skirt even though see through offers that modesty sometimes lacking. One of my favorite leotards!

Just a too-pale shade so sent it back. Runs small as danskin tends to also.

I bought this dress in lilac size large. It's attractive but accentuates your curves, so it would look best on a small-busted, straight body. Perhaps in black it would make one look less voluptuous. Nevertheless I'm keeping it because it's a terrific buy.
