How To Train Your Dragon: Paperback Gift Set 2 Paperback – October 21, 2014

My son LOVES this book series! He was frequently checking them out at our local library, that I decided to purchase this set. I am SO glad I did. The books arrived about two weeks before the "expected arrival date" which was perfect because I purchased these as a birthday gift to him as well. I did purchase book 12 separately since it was a newer book and not included in this book set. You made a little boy's love of books continue to grow! THANK YOU! :)

I was very excited to receive this set! It's a birthday gift for my dragon-obsessed, soon-to-be 8 year old stepdaughter. My husband already read her the first book and she was hooked, begging for more than a few chapters at bed each night.The packaging is colorful and a great way to keep the books neat and organized (if that is even possible with an 8 year old :-)

This box set is nice, but it will soon be outdated when Cowell releases the final book in the series. These books do not necessarily have to be read in order. There is hardly anything in the books that relates to the movies and because of these differences I cannot say one is better than the other.

My son loved it. Changed him from reading because he had to to reading because he loves it! My son has ADHD and Asperger's, so this would have been worth twice what I paid for the hours of quiet it got me....

The box set is beautiful! The stories are wonderful. Why not a five star review. The books are so tightly packed into the decorative box that it is physically not possible to get just one of them out by itself. You have to tip the box and sort of shake/jostle all the books forward until they're all about an inch out, then push the ones you don't want to read back in, leaving the one you want grabbable. This makes the box useless and you have to remove the books from it for the sake of practical access. A small detail, though. My 10 yo LOVES this series. I am delighted to have the whole set for him to read and re-read.

Gave this to my 7 yo daughter for xmas. She loves the movies and has an advanced reading level. She was so excited and wanted to start them right away. Great condition, you'd think they'd just come from the store.

Great stories, very funny and any easy read for a young adult or older adult like myself. I own the movies but the books are way better easy 4 hr read per book, great adventure to forget about a bad day or snuggle by the fire.
