After installing this Tab S8 screen protector, I realized that the glass is not a matte finish. Unsure if this is simply the wrong item sent or if the matte finish is very very poor.Glass protector installation without a template is something I will never try again and should have known better.I am not returning this because i used both already (first one had dust and corner came off) and at least I have a protector on my tablet until I find a matte finish screen protector with a template to install it.

I bought this screen protector really as an experiment to see if would cover a broken screen adequately to save having the screen replaced. I bought my ipad on special for $250 and researched that it would cost that much to replace the screen. I could buy a new one for that, so I thought I would see if a $12 fix would work to keep glass from falling out or cutting fingers when scrolling.I know this is for an unbroken screen, but it really worked well for what I needed it to do. It is not perfect by any stretch of the imagination but my ipad screen was severely broken, and short of screen replacement, it would never be perfect. There are some bubbles where the broken glass is, but I really expected that to happen since it would no longer be perfectly flat and smooth. When the ipad is turned on, the bubbles aren't that noticeable and the cracks in the original glass are less noticeable. I needed the white border to cover a one inch by 1/2 inch hole that formed due to glass falling out on impact. The screen scrolls and works just like it did before the breakage and I have found no areas where there are any problems in that regard. It looks just like the original screen with full coverage that fits perfectly.IF I ever buy another new Ipad or phone or whatever electronic with a breakable screen, I will look to see if this company makes a screen protector that fits it. I wish I had bought it when I first bought my Ipad and maybe the damage would not have been so extensive.Easy to apply- comes with everything you need for application. It seals down by itself with little assistance. I am so pleased that I have decided to just use this ipad and not buy another one for now, especially since the kids like to use it

It is not fit fully with screen tab 7. But it’s ok. My problem with the installation. It is like like easy, but after to install I see in the edge water spots. I don’t guess it is sturdy. But I will see that, and write another review.

My item arrived broken. I understand that there is alot of variables where it could've been damaged between amazon warehouse to my house. In its own packaging, it could use more protection so the screen protectors wouldn't break so easily. Maybe a cardboard sheeting or something stiff to keep it from being pressed down on. It's just unfortunate that i couldn't use it for its purpose. Im sure it would've been a good item.

Good:Includes all the right tools to properly install the "glass" on my new iPad (Latest Model) and if fits perfectly.Very clear and doesn't affect the clarity or brightness of the screen.Once applied it clings to the screen on it's own. There's no adhesive on the protector, so it is possible to carefully remove, clean, and re-apply if necessary.Bad: I don't know if all screen covers are like this, but I had problems with static and it tended to grab any dust particles that came near it. I was able to remove it an use the cleaning wipe and static sticker that came with it to remove 99% of anything that clung to the screen or the protector. Granted it is winter, the heat was on, and the house is very dry so it probably added to the static issue.Just follow the directions and you should be ok.
