I stumbled onto this at our local co-op and have been very happy with it. With age, my wavy hair has gotten more coarse, dry, and a lot curlier. This conditioner has helped tame it down. I still use a de-frizz spray after but I like the clean, mild scent (not strong or too sweet), and the texture.

I’ve been on the hunt for a cleaner leave-in conditioner. I do blonde balayage so my hair is already grumpy and it’s wavy, so after a shower it’s brutal to brush my hair. I searched EWG to try and find something better and I came across this brand.It’s a conditioner type of consistency, as you would expect. I didn’t realize I was getting a specific scent, but the bottle says Grapefruit, the scent is a super mild citrus scent. I’m sensitive to smells but this is very pleasant and I don’t smell it all day long. I was actually able to get my brush through my hair and style it without it feeling greasy or heavy. I don’t need to use very much and I generally only use it on the bottom half of my hair, not my scalp.My only complaint is a plastic bottle. I’m trying to reduce my plastic waste since we know plastic recycling is a joke, and I haven’t found this brand at any of my refill stores. I hoping someday they’ll offer this product is a metal bottle at least so I feel a little less guilty. Or I’ll just find another brand that works and meets my sustainability goals.Otherwise, this product is amazing!

This product is very heavy from all the oils. If you already have moisturized hair this will definitely weigh your hair down IF YOU AREN’T CAREFUL. After a few days I finally found a solution. My hair is of medium thickness, but very straight. I’m super focused on growing it out and strengthening it so I was determined to make this product work. I combined this leave in with water in a mister spray bottle (the biggest one I could find maybe around 10-15oz). I wait until my hair is 85%-90% dry and then spray the smallest amount in my hair and carefully run my hands over the surface of my hair and my ends. For curlier, coarse hair you probably won’t need to do this, but for finer straight hair it will leave your hair feeling very greasy if you don’t. I feel like doing this helps my hair feel softer, less frizzy, and it looks shiny (it also smells amazing). Best of luck!!

I have fine hair and rinse out leave in conditioners. This works well for my very fine hair and a little goes a long way. Most importantly to me is that it is EWG certified as containing no harmful chemicals.

I purchased this product for the non toxic ingredients and frizz control. I have been using this for over 2 months now and have not noticed much difference. Unfortunately, it did nothing to help control my frizz. The smell is fine, I believe it does assist a bit in detangling wet hair. I would recommend for the ingredients and detangling ability but not so much for frizz control.

I love all the Griffin Remedy products. This is a great leave-in conditioner especially for color-treated hair. It is not heavy and real moisturizes the hair. Really blends in well. The smell is amazing.

I used this for the first time today and RAN to write a review. 1. The smell! The grapefruit scent is amazing. Actually smells like a real grapefruit but it’s not too strong. 2. Softness! My hair is so silky smooth and soft. I can not stop touching it. 3. Weightless moisture! I have fine hair but a lot of it and I’ve been trying to find something that provides moisture without weighing it down. This is the product. I recently discovered that i have wavy hair and this helped hydrate my waves and surprisingly that made them more defined!

I could feel a difference with my hair in the first 3 weeks of using this. I have thin hair and over the years coloring my hair and using heated styling tools caused a lot of damage. My hair feels stronger and looks healthier. Now I still use my straightener but with this added to my hair care routine I see less breakage and splitting and my hair just looks soooooooo much healthier and shiny. But not greasy! Will be purchasing again.
