Nicely designed adapter (current passes through, it does not change the voltage) I used this for a week in the UK with the entire family's devices. Most of the time we had both USB charging ports occupied and a charger or transformer for some other electronic device plugged in too. Most chargers/transformers are actually 110-250V/50Hz-60Hz and just need a plug adapter for world use and this fits the bill. I would prefer that the swing out ground prong was functional instead of a plastic stabilizer but it was not an issue. The spare fuse is very handy as the adapter will not run (for long) a 1500 watt portable hair dryer (oops), use an inexpensive 3-prong unfused adapter with high wattage devices.Pros: Convenient to use; Dual USB charging ports; Includes replacement fuse; Blue LED shows power.Cons: Max 6 amps won't work with a hair dryer; Slightly bulky, it's about half the height of a soda can.

I purchased this for a trip overseas to South Africa. I haven't used it in any other countries yet.I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 only because the adapter that works in South Africa doesn't work in all of their outlets. There are two different kind of outlets that aren't interchangeable, and this only worked in one of those.I do really like that there are 2 USB ports and the additional outlet. This saved my family fighting over who could change something because three things could be charging at the same time.The one thing I do find a little annoying about this product is that when it's plugged into a wall there's a light that glows blue so you know it's properly plugged in. At night the light was sometimes too bright and bothered me.

This worked for me when I used it in Samoa. I did not notice it getting overly warm. It charged both my iPhone and iPad without any problems. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because is blocked the other outlet from being used it was in the top socket, so two of these universal adapters could not be used in the same outlet. (When traveling in a group with 3-4 people per room, there were a lot of phones tablets, laptops etc wanting to be charged.). Traveling by yourself this wouldn't be an issue.Note that it does not convert power, so you need a converter for curling irons, hair dryers, electric kettles.

Purchased this a few months ago and have had no problems with it at all. It isn't all that pretty, and it feels cheap... but then again, it was cheap. But it did exactly what it needed to do on my last trip in Asia. Was also nice not to need to take iphone and ipad chargers as this one worked for both. Also was able to use the ESB charge slot for my portable speaker and camera batteries. It was ver efficient for the price.

After using it daily in South East Asia and can say it works really well.Light and sturdier then it looks it will power up your accessories in no time with the additional two USB charge plugs.There is a blue LED that will glow the whole cube. Very practical in the night for you to not stumble inadvertently near your precious stuff charging in the night. But a bit too bright when you are charging something in your bunkbed and you have it close to your face.Still, would recommend.

This product does not fit in a UK socket. I think the problem is the plastic pin in the 3 prong setting.I am in the UK right now, but will have to return this item when I return to the USA.

Well constructed. no loose fittings like some of the other makes out there. I wouldn't put it next to your head whilst you sleep cos its a fairly well lit when plugged in(nothing wrapping half the top in some duct tape wouldn't fix). electronic whine but not annoying, similar to the skross noise as well so if it was across the room you wouldn't hear it. Would buy again if needed. Bargain price for what you get compared to ones selling for 3x the cost

Great product. I have used it in France, Ukraine, and Georgia (country not the state). Big hit in airports and hotels as you can charge multiple devices at once.
