Works as described
Product is as described. Disposal was hardwired in originally. There is a plug there now, so this was needed. Thanks to Amazon for having it available quick.

Better to Have and not Need Than to Need and Not Have
How's your garbage disposal doing? Well, mine died at thanksgiving! Amazon to the rescue. Locally it was going to cost $600.00 to have a new one installed so I thought I would try doing it myself. It was actually a piece of cake. Amazon takes the time to make suggestions as to what extra parts will be needed when doing a DIY. This item was better than expected. It came with extra parts so no matter what kind of application, there was a good chance you won't need an extra trip to the hardware store on install day. Conclusion, I put the disposal in myself with all Amazon parts, took about two hours and was just over $100.00...WOW!

Garbage disposal cord
First of all just make sure this is the correct cord for the disposal you got. I went to the hardware store saw the brand name and got it only to realize I needed this cord instead of the EZconnector because they were out of the one I needed. It was 100% my fault on that one. The installation of this was very easy and the build quality is what you would expect. It fit perfectly fine but the only reason I'm giving this 4 stars is because the cord doesn't come with the disposal. It was super annoying finding out that the garbage disposal I just got did not come with the cord to power it and I had to buy it separately with no mention on the product page of needing one. Maybe I over looked it but I mean COME ON the correct cord should come in the box waiting an extra 2 days was annoying.

Remember to take the plug out of disposal so it won’t flood your cabinet. Our bad. Easy to install functions well. I was satisfied with the price and quick delivery
