I used these to create my own deep water buckets for growing vegetables hydroponically. They are pretty strong while still being flexible. The netting was good enough to fit the roots of my transferred plants while not too big to let the pebbles fall through. Perfect for the job.

The net cups and the self watering wick are of good quality. I have been using this kit for a few weeks now and everything works and fits perfectly. I highly recommend and I will buy more in the future.

The product works great as advertised with the wick for hydroponic water & feeding.I am generally satisfied with this product considering I was using them as part of an experimental Passive Vertical Hydroponic Organic Garden I have been developing.- Easy to set-up and use but some of the Coconut Coir washes through unless some sort of mesh is used.- Fits nicely in Wide Mouth mason jar, and lid ring holds it in place.- Watering is a problem with Coir because it only slowly seeps through medium and it takes time & patience to water (Ended up using a section of plastic tube slid down the side that delivered water directly into jar)- Because this is an enclosed system, there is no water circulation and no aeration, so, eventually the water will stagnate.- Because the glass is clear, when used outdoors in direct sun, the water heats too much.- Sadly, the plants mostly died and my experiment failed. I will uses this product again in next year's experimental garden..... probably will not be passive next time.
