Bought the extra hand set for my Mum and Dad. It was easy to set up just placed it into the main base unit and it registers with the existing phones. Then put it in its own cradle and you’re done.

Having spent an age researching phones for my elderly parents I decided on these Amplicoms phones. They have been nothing but trouble. The ring is super loud , you will hear it but the sound is tinny and distorted. They are very complicated to use and the functions are not intuitive. I hate them, my parents hate them and cannot understand how they function. Eg , transferring a call from the base phone to the mobile handset , we still don’t know how to do it. When using the speaker phone, the handset still seems active so you have to check the handsets are lifted and replaced to ensure ending the call. They are a disaster, I would avoid.
