Fed up with looking at those crappy plastic mounts for sale, nothing seems rugged or neat enough. Was looking at Quadlock, but like so many companies, their shortsightedness, they only cater for iphones, other than an adhesive "universal" mount - and that comes in at £35 - I aint paying £35 to secure my £600 Sony with a bit of adhesive - Never mind the awful lump it will leave on the rear of the phone - Hardly sleek! I stumbled upon this on Amazon, £17 (on offer), so though id give it a go Half the price of the quadlock, and i can fit any phone into it. Its jaws have moulded rubber grips to create a nice friction, and prevent it from marking the phone. With the phone wearing a bumper case too, this wasn't a problem as the jaws are wide enough too. As the Sony phone is IP68 waterproof, nothing else was needed. Whilst i haven't fitted it to my bike yet, i know it will "do the job", so much so, i bought another straight away. Packaged well, looks good - Looks quality. I wont take chances, so will be applying some lock thread on all mounting bolts, to prevent any unwelcome loosening! So far, i would recommend it.***Update*** having now used the phone holder, i can say i'm very happy with it. One word of advice, many handle bars are anodised, it can scratch quite easily, pop some insulation tape around the handle bar before tightening this in place, it also helps it bite in place too. Highly recommended.

Thought this might just be a simple bike phone holder, how wrong I was, this is the best phone holder I've had. It fits every phone even a small phablet. All the corners are supported, so if anyone tried to take your phone off the holder they would have to be very strong to brake all four corners off the phone holder to get the phone, Its the safest phone holder to date. The phone holder grips your phone from all four corners allowing you to have access to all buttons and sockets. It even has a soft padding for the back of your phone.This will even fit on Mobility scooters and wheelchairs.

I use a cycle to commute into work every day and sometimes I have to take different routes so I was looking for a phone holder for the scooter. Anyone that has used one will know that it is next to impossible to ride with your phone in a hand.Pros-It fits well onto the handle bars of the scooter.-the adjustment system works well and it’s easy to use.-it’s held my phone in place securely so far.-good value for moneyCons-Build quality does not seem to be the greatest, I don’t know how it would fare in a crash.-Not a particularly aesthetically pleasing product.

I had no issue installing this holder to my bike and I didn't require any tool to do it. This holder is also very versatile to install on the steering shaft due to the ball joint screw design. Placing your phone to the holder is also very secure and easy, you basically unscrew it to open up the four corner mount which can be screwed tight in place to fully secure the phone from bumps and vibration whilst riding.

Really good bit of kit!!!.. really hold the phone securely!!only a couple of issues which aren't major just an annoyance1. would have been nice to have instructions as i didnt realise one of the bolts was to allow mounting to the handlebar post, which makes it extra solid with no clip issues at all.2. As other reviewers have mentioned, the foam insert for the clip (which so happens to be where the Handlebar bolt is meant to go but is in the little plastic bag) is apparently meant to provide the padding for the Clip. It is not enough padding still, so just pulled off the thin bit of padding along the edge of the packaging to get a longer piece and it secured fine. (hint if you dont want to use this then i recommend some handlebar tape which is nice and grippy and can be wrapped and cut to the desired length (available on here i'm sure or at your local Halfords)apart from those issues, it does work well and actually looks good!Suggested improvements/CONSLack of InstructionsAdditional padding required/PROSLooks goodNice and Secure

This bike holder has three knobs you need to tighten; one to fix on to the handlebars, one to adjust the clasps that secure onto your phone, and another to secure those claps tightly.NOTE: Make sure you get that third knob on very tightly, or you'll find your phone will bounce right out; it isn't particularly high quality, and it is just hard plastic; it does not stick to your phone.

When I first received the holder, the large screw was missing for securing it to the bike bar (first pic) so I had to find another means of doing it - I used some strong wire which sufficed, for a short period.The screw on the back to ensure the size fits your phone is very fiddly to use, requiring you to tighten it so much that when you come to remove it, it’s very difficult.It became unusable when I detached the holder from my bike and placed it in my pannier - next time I got it out the piece cane off in my hand!If you want something practical and long-lasting then steer well clear.

I have 4 stars as the ring size should have been bigger to fit my bike perfectly. My handle bar it is not the same width all around so that is why it is not ideal to have this product. But you cannot fault this item for this reason
