Much more comfortable replacement for standard grips
These are pretty nice ergonomic grips. They feel MUCH better than the stock round grips that were on the bike - I had a number of issues with numbness on long rides. I like that they have lock rings on both ends. I bought the ones with the aluminum end-caps, although I only used one because I have a mirror mounted on the left end. They do take up more space on the handlebar than the old grips. I had to move the brake / shifter mounts inward about an inch or so to accommodate these and get my bar extensions back on flush with the end of the handlebar. It took a couple of rides to get them in just the right position, which meant loosening up the locks to twist them a bit, but now that they're set, I'm good. The most difficult part of installing these was removing the old grips. I used a plastic tire tool to pull the end of the grip off the handlebar a bit and squirt some WD40 in there, then twisted and pulled until they came off. The new grips went on pretty easy - an advantage of locking grips because they don't rely on being really tight on the bar to stay in place.Be careful that you do NOT over tighten these! A lot of folks not used to working on bikes tend to use way too much torque when tightening bolts. Err on the side of too loose - you'll find that things work fine with less torque than you think. Using a torque wrench when you're adjusting things on the bike will teach you just how little force is required to secure most things on the bike.

Very long grips that don't fit stock handlebars... and they broke during install
I had to move my gear selector and brake handle in about 3 inches to get these to fit, then the anodized metal that you tighten with the allen head broke and left a very sharp point right where your hand slides over to select a gear. Deserves 0 stars.

Beatifully made, poorly designed.
Bought these to try to fix up/improve the comfort on my 20 year old MTB. They are amazingly well made and good value for money..... but two issues: the rubber is just not thick enough. These would suit small hands perhaps a young person but the do not provide shock absorption which is, after all its intended purpose.Secondly they are both the same. This makes it easier to manufacture, one stock item, sold in pairs. However the hand needs a slight curl to that 'wing' to fit the palm of the hand. That involves two sets of tooling and selling two seperate items and added cost. Its worth it.So... I'll probably gift these to someone with young riders and buy myself a better pair.

Build quality= 5 stars . . . Shape= 4 stars
The green SAPLIZE Bike Handlebar Grips are pretty nice in terms of build quality, especially for this price point.Installation was quick and easy, and the colors add a pretty fun accent to your bike. The biggest issue with the product is the "cutout" feature that gives the product a knife-like appearance. The design looks cool, but I feel the area for resting your palm needs to be wider for people with average- and larger hands to enjoy it. If you are considering SAPLIZE, your best is to go with their more rounded ergo grips if your hands are med to large. Otherwise, kids and people with smaller hands should enjoy this product.

Decent grips for price
The grips are actually 1/2" shorter than the grips that originally came on my bike. Still ok for my large hands. Price is good, they fit the handlebars and the screws seem to hold in place nicely. I will use them on my hybrid MTB, so not too demanding. If you do serious MTB riding, might want to not get the cheapest options... The plastic plugs (came with 4 of them) are too large to push easily into handlebar ends. I'll try again, maybe some water will help them slip on? Maybe I'll cut down the rings on the end caps to allow to insert easier too. At least they included spare end caps. Update.... I used an exacto knife to cut the inner flanges some to they fit in my handlebars. They insert fine now. The grips do get slippery when wet. Again for serious mountain biking you should use gloves with these grips...

Almost a good product, but they broke before I could use them.
Well, I would be writing a really good review, but the darn things broke while I was putting them on. The heads on the Allen bolts that tighten the clamps stripped out. I use bolts and screws all day for a living, this was not user error. I was able to get them on my bike and they work, it is just going to be a pain to remove them with the horrible quality hardware. The end caps are also pretty flimsy. If the bolts and end caps where better quality these would have been at least four stars.

Defect on grip
Overall they seem to be a nice handle grip. I have used the Schwinn grips in the past that are all rubber. However they keep splitting on me. After happening twice, I decided to try another brand. Purchased this because there are two rings that tighten on the bar on each of the grips. I love the comfort of these style of grips and installation was not a problem. The only negative I had was one of the grips had a defect as seen in the photo. It looks like when they installed the metal rings on the rubber they may have pinched it. Either way it doesn't bother me enough to return then since they don't affect the grip itself. As long as it doesn't split or tear down the road I'll be good. But they could have better quality control.

End caps are thin plastic and can beak easily.
I used the gripsOn the passenger handle bars of my tandem bicycle. The grips and rings are very nice but the end caps are not really of the same quality. When I placed them on the end of the handle bars I used the palm of my hand to knock them all the way on and the one end cap broke off.

Buenos y tienen buena pinta!

No recomendados para down hill.

Tornillos de mala calidad
Los tornillos se barren muy fácil, los puños son muy comodos.
