Gads! A little research answers questions of other reviewers. I am happy with this charger. It is really easy to insert and remove the battery. And the very heavy battery is very stable in the charger. It clearly shows the level of charge in the battery. I checked the battery as it charged. It was not over driving the battery. The temperature did not increase. It appears to turn off the charging once it completed. Of course I removed the battery after it was charged. That's just a good practice. It appeared to take several (8-12) hours to charge the first time (over night, so I don't know for certain). I don't know how long it will take in the future, but it should be less time, since I doubt it will have as low a charge. Of course you will want to charge it before storing it for a long time. And good practice is to remove the battery after it is charged. I do that with any type of rechargable batteryNo, I found this a well designed, well engineered product that worked as advertised. I really don't expect the seller to know how the product works. But I do expect the maker to make it a good, safe product. They did. And it is.So, pay attention to how well it works. Yes sometimes products fail. That's why there are return policies and warranties. But overall, I find this to be a five star product.

Received the box with the charger and nothing else. No manual, but thanks to the Internet, I have a PDF version. Why would I need a manual, you ask? For a couple reasons. Firstly I wanted to know the process for battery charging. Plug in the charger first and then insert the battery, or insert the battery and then plug in. It matters. Also, it's recommended to pull the battery out and unplug once charged, nice pro tip that the manual has. Can't be said for all chargers. For the price, I expected a little more. A manual would have been nice for a template to put screws (not included) the right distance apart to wall mount, but I know how to measure. All said, I have to drop 1 star. I was happy that my 5Ah 60V battery charged in about 2 hours.

I don’t like that it said it would work in the greenworks 60V battery and it doesn’t.

Plugged it in, no lights. Didn't work. Returning.

Whoever is selling this charger does not know the difference between amps and amp hours so I would not trust them to know what a good charger is. I recommend that you find a charger sold by someone with non-zero basic electronics knowledge.
