The glass part can withstand up to 752°F with a sudden temperature difference no greater than 248°F, per Pyrex's specifications for their standard borosilicate glass. The big difference between Pyrex baking dishes and these are the lack of handles on these, which could be perceived as a safety hazard by the CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Committee) if they were advertised as safe for baking. Due to liability reasons, these should not be used other than for the purposes stated by the manufacturer.
