Portal Plus from Facebook bundle with Amazon Smart Plug - Black

We love the portal! Bought one for each of my kids for Christmas and use it daily. Hands free and very easy to use. I highly recommend.

my portal wont respond when I say, Hey Portal. (it used to) Everything is on, i can do things like make calls manually but its like Portal only dont hear me. Alexa hears me fine, any suggestions?

The Portal it's self is not portable, you must have it plugged into and outlet.. very Disappointing

Cannot get Amazon Alexa to work on our Portal+. I have over 500 photos loaded onto the Portal+ app, but it still only shows about 2 dozen of the 500. Spent hours on chat with Portal Support and still not able to rectify the problem. I rebooted it countless times, and did a complete reset to factory original settings, also numerous times, then had to reload everything back onto the Portal. We love using the Portal to connect with our grandchildren, but we’re so frustrated, we want it replaced, and Portal Support is not replacing it. I will update my review if Portal Support does anything.

The Portals have been so wonderful for keeping in touch with family during shelter in place. The camera adapts to the room and follows the speaker so it is great for keeping my mom in frame while she chats while moving about her kitchen.

The best way to FaceTime with kiddos

I am impatient and purchased the FacebookPortal when the AlexaShow model was sold out. I rarely use my Facebook account but assumed the FacebookPortal would be a good product based on the size of the company behind it. However, it is not Amazon product and it truly shows. I have several echos through out my home. The Facebook Portal is in my family room and i often use the echo in the kitchen to operate features due to the FacebookPortal being almost always non responsive. I've owned this product for several months and it is consistently disappointing.
