Storage is critical in RV so this bowl works nice

The media could not be loaded. This is the perfect size bowl to add to my camping supplies. It's large enough that it will easily hold a batch of pancake batter. I filled it with water and lifted it up to see how it held its shape, and it stayed bowl-shaped - no bending or giving out. It pops down quite easily. Someone mentioned a horrible smell. Oddly enough, mine had kind of a fruity smell to it when I first opened it, but it's only been about an hour and the smell is already gone. Pretty happy! Hopefully the bowl lasts a good, long while.Update: I used the bowl to make pancakes, and just one thing to keep in mind...when stirring, be careful about how you handle the bowl. I gripped the upper edge too firmly and the bowl started to collapse just a bit. Not a big deal once I knew what to expect. One thing that was great is that for the last little bit of batter, I held the bowl and squished it a bit to make a pouring spout to get the rest of the batter out. Pretty handy! It washed up great too.

I take this to work along with a salad I pack in a glass jar. I dump my salad into it, and it’s the perfect size! I use a pyrex beyond salad container jar and they’re the perfect combo. This is super easy to clean and folds up neatly. It’s the perfect size to dump a salad and stir it to mix it well, and you don’t risk it spilling over the edge. My only wish is it came with some sort of cover for if you want to have a lid on it. I subtracted one star because there were definite marks after cutting with a butter knife… so while it’s great for salads and a fork, don’t push too hard or you risk puncturing it. Otherwise very sturdy and useful!!

I specifically purchased this specifically to enjoy salads in a big bowl at work, and to be able to store the bowl in my bag or desk. The bowl is a perfect size. You can fit a large salad and still have room. The whole 9 oz bag fits. I fixed mine with a half bag. Also, I love the ridged rim. I like that it's "quiet" too, no annoying utensil sounds on the silicon. I totally recommend this.

Works great to pack in camping gear!

It was surprisingly difficult to find on Amazon a 2 qt bowl that wouldn't get hot like Pyrex & melamine or blemish like plastic in the microwave. Unlike batter bowls with handles, it fits in my smallish microwave. I didn't cook the spaghetti sauce or the gravy in it, just reheated them to a little above eating temperature, but there were no stains in the green, which there would be in most plastic. I hope it stays that way.

They are ok. I thought these would be great for camping because they save space. But just be careful. When mixing pancake batter the bowl tries to fold up. So just be mindful

I truly love this mixing bowl. When collapsed it is no more than an inch thick, but when expanded is a large (don't ask me how big, but it's big enough) mixing bowl. The process of collapsing and expanding is dead simple, too. I wash this bowl in the dishwasher...collapsed...taking up no more room than a single plate, and it comes out completely clean! Can you believe it?So, any downsides? Yep, one. The bowl is a bit floppy when open and I've had a few, almost, oops moments when the top or a side dipped while I was mixing a batter. I actually tend to put this bowl inside a fixed mixing bowl or colander when I use it. The outer bowl keeps t he Jovilife steady and the Jovilife keeps the outer bowl from getting dirty...never had to wash it when I was using this technique.I still love this thing and highly recommend it!
