Exact replacement for the original in my old Kenmore that finally wore a fissure in the edge of the lint screen. If in doubt as to which screen type to buy, check for the screen part number molded into it. If it's too small to read, find a spot with good light, use your phone to snap a closeup, and then enlarge and read it. Then search for that part number.

Initially I was a little skeptical about this product because it was a pretty tight fit. To put it in or pull it out of the slot it had to be done with quite some force. After the first use however, it was a perfect fit and it is an absolutely awesome replacement!

The dimensions of the lint catcher seem to be close to the factory unit but this one may be a bit thicker because I had to push it very hard to get it to go into the slot in the dryer. I’m waiting to see if it slides in and out more easily as time goes on or if I’ll have to sand it down a bit. Definitely seems to be sturdy enough and a decent price.

I was impressed with the heft and feel of this unit. The original lint screen filter was a single sheet of wire mesh with no central support. It also started to fit looser in the housing which led to lint escaping into the vent. This unit has two layers of screening supported with a brace across the middle. Definitely an upgrade.

I bought this this lint screen for my Maytag Series 2000 dryer for less than half the price of the one on the Maytag website. It seems to be good quality and fits my dryer.

The wire mesh on my lint trap was worn out, so I ordered this as a replacement. It arrived and the top corner was damaged. I wasn't even able to fit it in my dryer due to the broken plastic. I returned it and opted for a replacement. The second one arrived amd was broken in the exact same spot. The wire mesh also seems flimsier than my original lint trap.

Really like this one the old one wasn't built as good as this new one. My wife is mighty happy 😁😁😁.

This one is a fits a little tight in the slot for the filter. Makes it a little difficult to get it out for cleaning. I had to have my husband pull it out a couple times because it fit so tight I couldn't get it to come out of the slots it fits into. Other than that it works great. I hope it will loosen up more as I use it.
