I use this to lock the locker at my fitness center. I find the lock just the right size and easy to use. The only issue I had was getting the lock combination set initially. For starters the instructions are a small font. Knowing exactly where to set the lock clasp and have it aligned and then fully depressed took some effort to sort out. Of course once the instructions and level of effort to compress the clock clasp was fully understood, then everything worked well. I suppose it "needs" to be this way so you don;t accidentally change the combination. Some better instructions or a youtube video would be really helpful.

Having just completed the first week of using this lock at my gym, I'm very satisfied with the results. The lock is sturdy, easy to use, and seems very secure. In the past, I've used locks with keys—no more! And when I have used combination locks, they sometimes have resulted in me being locked out of my locker, due to having been mistakenly reset. This lock seems to have a combination-setting feature that prevents those type of erroneous resets from taking place. It's cheap, works well, and fits my needs for securing a gym locker! Who could ask for anything more?

Very easy to use and set the combo. Seem as srtong as others, however the two locks make it harder for a theif. Remember the purpose of any lock is to keep your friends out.

These were inexpensive locks and i didn't have high expectations, yet these still somehow managed to be lower than them. I would at least expect to use the lock like a standard combo lock where you can latch it while its not on the correct combo. But if you think this you'd be incorrect. These locks require the code to be entered before you can even lock them in the first place. That being said... They are relatively sturdy feeling locks and if you can get past that it's a decent buy.

These locks are very easy to set up and add your own lock code. They do what they are supposed to do. They provide a secure lock. The plastic casing does not seem as sturdy as other similar metal locks I have used but, so far, this has not been a problem as the locks have not been challenged by would be thieves. My only issue with the lock is the location of the unlock code is on the narrow side of lock as opposed to on the front of the lock. This is not convenient, not easy to see and would, likely be only reason, preventing me from buying this style again.

Wanted a 4-digit padlock to use on a treasure chest in my classroom. The price was fair; the lock is durable. Read other reviews and wondered if I'd have problems. I did NOT. Easy-to-read instructions (or simply use the ones on Amazon). The numbers spin easily. Following the steps to setting your own 4-digit combo could not have been easier. Just as easy to re-open. Purchase with confidence.

Good for the price but it is worth mentioning that these locks are not spring loaded if that's what you are looking for.

I am pleased with this lock. I use it for the side door to the house that is used by my gardener and pool guy. They know the code and let themselves in and lock it on their way out. Very easy to set
