Raspberry Pi Model 4 B Fan Case • Quiet Active Cooling, Aluminum Heatsinks, Protective Metal Guard • Black and Clear Premium Acrylic • Hypercool Tuxedo Edition

I was happy to find a case that includes a fan guard. I’ve used this type of miniature fan before and they can be easily damaged if you put your finger on it while it’s rotating. My Pi is going to be involved in various projects and the last thing I want is to break the fan while moving it around. The case itself is also sturdy and tight. When I hold the plain Raspberry Pi in my hand it feels fragile and thin, but when assembled, the case lends a satisfying sense of heft and rigidity to the computer. It manages to cover a lot of the Pi and still leave plenty of room for my multi-pin connector, camera, and two micro HDMI cords. The instructions are written in clearly native English. For products like this that require assembly, it’s nice to read the instructions once and instantly understand. Overall, this is an A+ case and I really don’t think you can go wrong with getting it for your own Raspberry Pi.

I'm not the best when it comes to little gadget-type electronics like the Raspberry Pi, but on a recommendation from my son I bought one and found myself looking for a suitable case and chose this one. When I first opened the package, I thought it looked a little daunting. Thankfully, the instructions were amazingly clear and had step-by-step photos as well as instructions and I was able to put it together around the Raspberry Pi easily. But then the fan wouldn't turn on. Thinking it was broken, I emailed Axxion at their support address and was surprised at their quick response and ability to help me through some troubleshooting steps. Turns out I had just plugged the fan connectors onto the wrong pins, so all is well. For me, getting the help I need from a company who says they care about my experience is important. Even though it was just my own mistake with the fan connectors, I was still impressed at their willingness to give personal help with troubleshooting, and for that I give them 5 stars!

I’m super pleased with this raspberry pi case. I noticed some alternatives include a power cord, but with all the USB-C craziness going on with the pi 4B (incompatibilities, failures, etc) I got the official power supply rather than settle for a cheaper 3rd party one. That being said, this case includes some great features I think you should know about.Pros:-Metal fan guard. It’s nice to see a case that protects everything, even its own components.-Quiet fan operation. No one wants a whiny fan on a device that might be on for extended periods of time like the raspberry pi.-Three aluminum heatsinks. They come with cool thermal adhesives and fit perfectly over the chips.-Unblocked ports. I didn’t think my rather chunky HDMI cable would fit with this case, but it works great!Cons:-Assembly. It might be a little tricky to put together, especially if you somehow dropped the unscrewed case or scattered the pieces. If you take your time reading the instructions though, you’ll be fine. I might add the instructions are very clear.-Fan orientation. The red/black cord can go in one of four directions and it’s hard to know what’s best. Putting them out towards the bottom left of the case worked great for me (see picture).If you’ve got one of the new raspberry pi 4B, I don’t see how you can go wrong with this case.

Like Chris Hemsworth or Bradley Cooper, this case has a confident sense of rugged good looks about it. The edges turn and loop around the different ports and screw posts, adding character to a unit that would otherwise be a simple plastic box. A solid metal fan guard on the top layer conveys even more security and protection.The icing on the cake is the perfectly clear top and bottom panels. When I first opened the box, I was worried because there were cloudy plastic films protecting these pieces. But I quickly realized I was a few peels away from feasting my eyes on what seem like sheets of crystal.Some computer cases close off what’s inside from the rest of the world. The best ones, though, are the cases that proudly frame their internals like works of art. I love being able to show off my electronics, and this product seems to have been made for that exact purpose!

The case is not only aesthetically pleasing, but sturdy as well. By following the easy-to-read instruction, the case was assembled quickly. I did have a small problem with the fan, and a new fan was sent free.Additionally, be very careful with the cpu heat sink, the case initially did not fit with my OEM Rasberry heatsinks (Cana Kit), so check carefully.

I’m very pleased with the quality of this product.The enclosure with fan easily keeps my VPN configured Raspberry Pi below 40 degrees C.

Thank you to this husband and wife team!The case is solid, it looks good! The sticker is great too.The fan is quiet as well and the heatsinks fit properly. It even has a fan guard! I got a DSI LCD monitor that does not use the pins so no issues with the fan using a couple pins.Highly recommended.

The case is easy to assemble following the Instructions and the fun is reaaaaaallly quiet.
