Vuka is helping me kick my Red Bull addiction
This is my story about how I am using this Vuka drink to overcome my Red Bull addiction. I'll speak to the Vuka product at the end, but first, here is my story.I am 38 years old, I am a husband and father of 3, and I am a lawyer. I do not use tobacco or any illicit drugs. I do take a prescription medication for ADD/ADHD.And I am a Red Bull addict. I am not speaking figuratively. I mean that in all seriousness.I have never had cocaine (nor will I ever) but I can't imagine it would be much better than Red Bull at getting my brain working. I got to the point where I could not function at work until I had a Red Bull. I can drink coffee all day and it does nothing for me (except accelerate my bowels). I don't know what they put in Red Bull but my brain goes from foggy to hyperfocused within 15 minutes after having an 8 oz. Red Bull. After a trip to the E.R. with heart palpitations from drinking 2 Red Bulls in one day, I decided that it was time to quit. After a month of foggy, unproductive days at the office, I relapsed on Red Bull. I limited myself to one 8 oz. can per day. Everything was okay until one day I didn't feel right and I tool my blood pressure. It was dangerously high. This started happening more often and I experimented and figured out it was the Red Bull.So I have been trying to quit Red Bull for about 2 years (unsuccessfully, until the last 2 months).Someone suggested that in order to beat an unhealthy addiction, you have to replace it with something else that fulfills the same need, but in a healthy way.I tried lots of other energy drinks and most all of the popular ones taste like vomit or skunk piss. Then one day my wife saw Vuka at Whole Foods and she bought me a can to try it. GAME CHANGER. Hallelujah. This product might just save my life. I'm not being dramatic. If I kept at my Red Bull addiction, I would have continued to do damage to my blood vessels due to increased BP.The Vuka tastes really, really good -- better than Red Bull, in fact -- and best of all, MY BRAIN LOVES IT. According to its labeling, it is all natural. It does not make my blood pressure go up. But it does help my brain. It is a different kind of "high" than Red Bull. It is gradual but it also lasts much longer and I don't crash 5 or 6 hours later like I did with Red Bull.I highly recommend this product. I have read about other folks trying to get off of Red Bull. This way is working for me. I haven't touched a Red Bull, nor have I even craved one, in over 2 months.Another advantage is that it still tastes good even if you walk away and come back 2 hours later and it has warmed up close to room temperature. Red Bull tasted awful after it warmed up even 20 minutes later. So I always chugged the Red Bull while it was ice cold. With the Vuka, I can sip on a can all day. I can also put it on ice and even after it gets watered down a little, it still tastes great. It also has just enough carbonation that it still has that satisfying feeling you can only get from a carbonated drink. But unlike Red Bull, even if Vuka goes "flat" and loses its fizz, it still tastes really good!Give it a try. You might like it.

PROD is PRODuction date, not EXPiration date
Delicious tasting and a better alternative to the chemically riddled mainstream energy drinks. Doesn't give me the jitters or a crash. Honestly, one of the best, if not the best tasting energy drink I've ever had. With that out of the way, the dates on the bottom of the cans are the date that the can was, well canned. It's not the expiration date. And even if it was, canned products can last decades without degrading or causing illness from consumption of them. The actual expiration date, is on the card board box the drinks are plastic wrapped in. That being said, I do wish they weren't sitting in a warehouse for almost a year. But, still well within their expiration date. The price is pretty steep for just 12 cans, but I can say I will definitely buy them again, and keep a case or two on hand, just because of how good they taste. I'm impressed that they retain their full flavor, if I leave them for a couple hours, before finishing them. There's no bitey-ness to them, nor that sour after taste that so many energy drinks have. Goes down super smooth, with the right amount of carbonation.Absolutely recommended for those looking for a cleaner, tastier energy drink.

Vuka Energy's Unfortunate, Expiration Date Issues
Pomegranate Lychee flavor Energy Drink...the taste is worth your money!! But I’ll never purchase this delicious drink again! For some reason, the makers of this fabulous drink is unfortunately, having issues w/getting fresher drinks on the market for the consumers! I've purchased 2 other energy drinks from two different companies, from Amazon and I’ve never had expiration date issues. I haven't experienced sickness after drinking Vuka expired drinks, but still in the future, I'll never take another chance on purchasing Vuka Energy, simply because I don't trust that it won't be expired!

Tastes incredible, fuels the fire
Pros: these are delicious, not the worst for you, and give good energy for working your mind or your body. Very tasty.Cons: not great calorie wise, and does that stupid stuff where it is 2 servings in one can. Tastes less good if you drink multiple, which could be a pro, shouldn't drink tons of energy drinks per day anyways.

Check the expiration date
This item was replaced once and the expiration date is older than the first one was 2019 and the second was 2017, never had problem before.

Best ALL Natural Energy and Memory Drink on the Market.
I've been a fav since they started out years ago. Went 2-3 years with drinking one per day. It was my 'coffee' and every day started great with my Think Vuka. Lately their availability has been dismal and the few packages I've been able to get were bad mixtures. They seem to be going through a change and it has been very difficult to 'get going' each morning without. I hope they get this manufacturing issue fixed soon. If you can get a hold of it, the price is worth it!

Vuka!
I love Vuka drinks and since we no longer live in Colorado, I cannot buy them in the grocery store. Yes, they are pricey, definitely not an every day splurge for me. Read the ingredients and you will understand the reason for the higher price tag. The pomegranate lychee is my favorite flavor and I was pleased to find them in the single flavor pack versus the variety pack with the other two flavors, neither of which I care for.Shipping was fast and I especially liked the frustration free packaging. I will return to Peters Select on Amazon when it's time for more Vuka!
