My husband chose this monitor for our baby registry - primarily because he liked the look of the camera and we both appreciated the night vision capabilities. We were surprised (considering the price) to actually receive it as a gift from someone when our daughter was born. It has been extraordinarily handy. The receiver battery easily lasts 10-12 hours (when unplugged, camera is not active unless the button is pressed). The receiver volume is admirably loud (we keep it on the minimum volume usually), loud enough to create feedback when she cries and the receiver is only one room away. It also controls the camera position remotely.We decided against a Bluetooth or WiFi capable camera system option because of the possibility of hacking/listening in.If you're willing to spend the money, I highly recommend this as an option.

Purchased for a friend who says that camera is great, night vision works well, she loves that she can talk to the babies from her room. The only downside is that she wanted to connect extra cameras to the monitor and was not able to even though they purchased the same brand. They now have to carry around two monitors to see their twins. But other than that they love it.

Works great! I love being able to change the camera angle from the monitor and I can see really well. Definitely worth the money. The battery doesn't last that long ( especially if you keep the picture up the whole time) but they tell you the battery only last about 7 hrs up front, so it's not like you don't know going into it. And you can just keep it plugged in if you are like me and worried about it dying on you.

Doesn't stay charged for long at all. Have to keep it plugged in all the time so it doesnt die. Bought a $27 camera and it works better than this one and has better night vision and better quality over all. Waste of money.

Overall good quality, Pan, zoom, etc, though battery life on handset (screen) is pretty short.

I love this camera. The battery life is amazing. The sound is also great and I cant to the baby through the monitor which is a good feature. The night vision is really good and you can see the baby really well. I absolutely love that you are able to move the camera with the monitor and its not just fixed in one spot I can move it around and am able to see the whole room. very highly recommended.

My mother had Alzheimers disease. I needed something to keep an eye on her at night. Having sound and video was great. The night vision worked great. The only reason did not give it a five is that battery did not go as long as I would have liked. I also liked you could adjust camera with controller

Camera is awful. It’s very grainy, goes from kinda clear to pixilated constantly. Image stalls and takes a few seconds to catch up. Night vision Is hardly visible. Only thing I like is the color and the larger screen.
