It is a cheap solution if decline to replace the headliner, or upholster it. I didn't use the tape. A 5 inches bondo spreader helped to spread pins 5 inches apart. At the visor area used zigzag pattern. On the sides used a more dense pattern.Used 2 medium coats of 3M Headliner Adhesive, in front at the windshield, and screws at the edge 2 inches apart.

Works well. Taken your time. Some tops are weak and you need to go slow.

My roof would sag so low it would sit on my head. Smh. I did research and found out about these "buttons" I was sooooo satisfied after installing them, that I was mad I hadn't done it sooner. My kids wished they were glow in the dark. Lol. I'm perfectly fine wth the color they are.
