Less colorful than the images appeared.
The ones I received are not as colorful as the ones that appeared on the ad. I wouldn't expect to receive the identical ones advertised but these had less abalone color and look browner. Otherwise they fit fine

Snug but really nice pins
Very nice pins for the price.

The right pins
I did a lot of research to find a pin size 2A for a vintage Gibson. The specs provided were close so I took the chance and they worked and sounded great!

Works as advertised
I have an old acoustic that had plastic pins. The old pins kept slipping and the guitar would not stay in tune. These work much better -- no slipping so the guitar is playable. And they look cool. But I did not notice an improvement in tone.

Large abalone dot
With multiple guitars, I’ve purchased several abalone dot string pins but was previously disappointed with size of dot. These pins are perfect. Large dot covers almost all of the head of the pin. I’m replacing all the others with this pin.

They came Dry
They came looking desperately dry. One of them started splitting but I managed to fix it with a strong permanent glue and I had to oil them so they wouldn't all split and dry, aside from it they looks very nice and they are type big compared to normal ones. I put them on my Taylor 250ce. I would recommend them but I say oil them will lemon oil, the same type used for your fretboard. let them rest and see if they need some more oiling.
