⚙️ Unleash Precision Control with Every Turn!
The PEMENOL PWM Motor Driver is a versatile speed controller designed for DC motors, operating within a voltage range of 5V to 24V and supporting a maximum current of 15A. It features a power-off memory function to retain settings, a soft start function to protect the motor, customizable duty ratios, and a digital rotary encoder for precise speed adjustments.

simple motor controller works as expected.
he controller worked out of the box but there are three parameters you can set to make it work better. The first two parameters are high and low limits for duty cycle. The controller uses Pulse Width Modulation to vary the rpm of the motor. The controller doesn't change the voltage to the motor, just the amount of time the motor is receiving power. The default lower limit for duty cycle is 0 which means the motor never receives power. The default high limit is 100 which means the motor is receiving power 100% of the time. The motor I tested with doesn't run with a duty cycle below 30. The speed control knob on the controller doesn't have stops like normal potentiometers. It just continues to turn in either direction, raising or lowering the duty cycle. This means that while my motor stops at a duty cycle of 30 the controller can still reduce the duty cycle to 0. In order to start the motor again I'd have to turn the knob until it hits 30. With setting the lower limit to 30 the controller never goes below 30 no matter how much I turn the knob and it starts right away when I increase the duty cycle. The controller seems to be well constructed. The case is plastic but sturdy enough. The circuit board looks clean and well made and the solder joints clean. There is a place on the board to solder in a stop switch. After adding a switch it works as expected. When open the motor is allowed to run, closing the switch stops the motor. There is a slight delay (<1sec) before the motor resumes after opening the switch. There is a diode on the board to prevent damage if you hook power up backwards.Tech support was responsive when I had questions. Email was answered quickly, usually within a day.

incredible buy
it works If this thing lasts it will be a great. A nice red digital display for a eight dollars! Tested it out for a while and it seems to work fine. Install was a little difficult because it is made for a thin panel , the flange is so tiny that you have to cut your hole perfectly if you wanted to look good, and the wires come out the bottom making it difficult to slide in the panel hole, but still it is an amazing value.I would advise anyone using this product to tape the back panel on because it falls off when you pull the monitor out of the panel to which is mounted.so far a great value for the dollar. Product works exactly as advertised and as if that is not enough the Customer service via email is prompt and in good English!

Works well for my project.
I only hope it will last a good while. The only thing i disliked was the pcb mounted screw terminal , well the position of it made it harder to use . If i had time i would desoldered it and solder new wire leads to the board and drill a hole through the back cover for the wire leads . Maybe next time on another project if i need another ill probably do just that. I also dont like that when it receives power its already in the 'on' state . You either have to push the button to power it off or turn it all the way down to 000 after each use so its off when it recieves power .

Value priced, meets or exceeds description, works as advertised and is a value.
I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

Too young to smoke
I had the product connected correctly. It worked for perhaps a total of 5 minutes run time staggered in three separate 2 minute runs. On the third run it started smoking. Input 12VDC driving small low amperage brushed motor for a stir plate. Didn't return it nor ask for money back. Just bought a different PWM from Amazon at roughly the same cost. No issues with new PWM with 2 dozen plus run times pushing an hour of total use. I notice the new PWM I purchased has beefy heat syncs. No led display but who cares it works. I do not feel it is appropriate to list the brand name of the working unit but you have been warned. This is only the 2nd negative review I have written over many years and many purchases. 1st negative review was over a shipping address change that was clearly done post ordering so I'm not a person to write negative product reviews so heed my words. As most know products do not always meet stated specs but I let those slide. Could I have just received a one off defective unit? Perhaps but judging from what I know about PWM's I not confident otherwise I would have asked for a replacement rather than simply moving on. Personally I wish all negative reviews of any product would also state how often that review writer posts negative reviews. I feel that is important in weighing the veracity of the comment. Perhaps Amazon could attach such a number or at least give the writer the ability to select the number vs the percentage of purchases. I suspect a less than glorious post written by a non complaining type carries more weight than the contrary.
