Vanity Mark Cosmetics Dr. Kiss Lip Balm

I love this chapstick, it tastes great and does a great job but it breaks easily and is just too much money for what it is.

I purchased this at the International Makeup Artist Trade Show 4/6/2013. Researched the product beforehand and was excited to try and buy. It felt nice on the hand - much better than the gloss,which was too sticky. So, I purchased two. I gave one to my daughter as soon as I got home. When I tried it on my lips, the texture was very grainy, and I saw no color enhancement, whatsoever. Aside from that it had a saccharine sweetness to it that I found unpleasant. Also, the packaging, apart from being cute (pill shape), was quite flimsy.I am very disappointed in the product...I don't recommend.

Did not like the smell or taste (too strong a mint scent).

I googled lip color for aging skin and this came up a lot so I was looking forward to getting something I could use just to run errands instead of the whole metal jacket! But don't see any color or a creamy texture. It might be good for lip health but not so much for me with anything else. It doesn't stay on long tho the taste is nice.

This is a great lip balm!I love the pill shaped container and the smooth application. I saw a review here mention a grainy feel and I would suppose that it was a fluke because I've used this more than twice and never got a grainy finish. The bump of color is surprising because to look at the balm, seeing an icy blue hue doesn't prepare you for the natural color that comes to your lips. The color on your lips isn't a super dark red, or anything of the sort, but they get a natural shade or so darker.The taste is a nice blend of mint and vinilla, not too sweet, but I do like to apply just before I start sipping my tea.I don't think it's too pricey because it feels a little luxurious and leaps and bounds better than your average drug store balm.TREAT YO'SELF!
