I just bought this radio and combination light, cell phone charger and speaker. For 50 bucks, a good buy and it seems durable enough to handle the way I treat my gadgets. Radio reception is good, speakers sounds good, cell phone charger is fair, but in a pinch, it will charge your phone. The spotlight is fairly brite and should work good for a camping flashlight. I have an iphone 8 so it works for me. Delivery was quoted at 4 days and arrived in 2 days. Amazon's delivery is always very good. Kudo's to Running Sail for making a good, compact durable multi function radio, flashlight, phone charger and aux input for using spotify etc.

This radio has been thoughtfully designed, and much nicer than the last "weather radio" I had. I like that it can run on its own internal battery, AAA batteries, its solar charger, and with a surprisingly easy to use crank at last resort. It came with two small cords, one for hooking to a smart phone so you can listen to your play list...(which I don't have).. and one with a small USB end and a regular USB end. One of these is supposed to recharge a phone, I think. The directions for using this cord is not clear. I may call the company for more info. Also, the only thing they did not include in the clever design of this radio is a little hatch to store the cords. So where do you keep them that you can find them after a hurricane??? I guess I will sew a little draw string bag to tie to the radio?? Also, a plus in my house, it sits on a window sill to charge and is stable enough to perhaps not be knocked off by the cats.

The radio MUST be charged when you receive it. After charging, I tested it. The AM sound is not the best, but I don't usually listen to it. The FM sound is good for a radio of this size. The weather radio works, but I haven't yet tested to see if it switches to weather when a weather warning is issued. It uses three AAA batteries. Why 3 and why not AA?It does not have bluetooth or earphone jack. There are no memory spots to remember the stations, but it does remember the last AM, FM, and Weather stations it was tuned to. Overall, it is a good radio for what I got it for, which is if I loose power. It's small enough that I can pack it in my suitcase when I travel. I do have another weather radio, which has AM. FM, Weather, that just monitors the weather and turns itself on when the alarm is sounded. The other radio also includes a clock and alarm (digital) so the new radio won't get used that much unless I lose power.. This radio does not include SAME so it alarms for all warnings in the broadcast area. My other radio does have SAME so I only hear the alarms for areas I selected.Edit: We had weather thi past weekend and it does turn itself on. The alarm is LOUDER than my other radio.

This is the best emergency radio I’ve had. I got the first one two years ago and just ordered a second.. The sound quality is good and I like the swivel antenna. The triangular shape makes it hard to knock over. The only difficulty is that the buttons are hard to see in the dark. This radio works well for both long-term and short-term emergencies when you need to be able to get a weather report. or an alert.

This radio is an awesome! It has all the features you need for emergency weather and has awesome reception. It runs rings around the Midland 310 which is so highly recommended. I haven’t had this very long, but so far I would highly recommend it!

Bought this product not just once I bought a second one. This worth every penny ! We have used it 3 times when our power went out and the flashlight works awesome most of all the radio was so clear we able to listen to the radio while we had a power outage due to bad storms. And whats a bonus is we were able to charge our cell phones ! Love that you do need to worry about batteries bc it's has solar panel on it and including light handle to recharge the product ! Highly recommend you purchase this for family or friends and for your household !

The media could not be loaded. The first radio I ordered had a problem. When you turn it off the Alarm starts going off. So it has to be left on. I contacted the email support on the card that came with the radio and when the suggested fix did not work they sent me another radio with apologies. That is really great customer service and made a big impression on me. I usually don't make videos for a review but I did this time.I got this radio for my 85 year old father to carry around with him as he likes to listen to the talk shows. The weight is light enough for him and the batteries last a long time. For the 3 AAA batteries you put in in addition to the installed lithium battery, I use rechargeables and will always have spares handy. That way I don't have to buy new batteries. The unit that wouldn't shut off ran a few days with the volume on low so even with just the internal battery used it lasts a long time.. AM reception works pretty good. Just rotate the radio until a station comes in better. The antenna is for the FM band,The buttons are all black so I would suggest the letters on the buttons be filled in with white paint so you can easily read what they are. I might do that myself.

After hearing crazy reports of weather everywhere...we opted to getting this just in case...not huge, easy to carry, easy to power up with batteries and/or solar power, added plugs and adaptors and you can add what you have specialty to its USB port. Crank is easy to use and keeps the power to use the flashlight and it is super bright. Lots of AM/FM channels and a special weather channel. Has a SOS siren which is very loud by the way...but hey, if you are stuck somewhere and you need someone to hear you, this will do it...I would highly, highly recommend this product for every emergency bag/go bag/survival kit/car...you name it...its only 7 inches long and 3 inches high...so easy to pack away...has an antenna as well and a sturdy handle....proactive safety; worth it's weight in gold.

The solar charging does not work.

This unit has all the necessary features and would be essential in an emergency with no electrical power. It is compact and the three methods it has for charging the battery are excellent. Well done.
