Super Gift
My 10 yr old Grandson loved it. Decent quality for the price. The tone is pretty good. And the sound box looks really nice. The case is also a nice quality and the extras that came with it are all a good quality. Nothing cheap about it. I purchased an additional music book which I would recommend that you also do. I wouldn't recommend for little kids but definitely 8 and up if they're interested in artsy/music stuff. Easy to just pick up and pluck the notes to make music of their own.

It's Tight, A'ight?
I dig the tones my kalimba produces, and the craftsmanship brought to bear upon it is tight. Only wish that mbiras, which are similar to kalimbas but have deeper tones, were available domestically as well: Only source I know that produces them on demand lives in Zimbabwe. Oh well — aside from THAT lamentation, the product is infectiously beautiful, and the delivery-time superb.

Easy and fun to play
So much fun to play. Very easy to hold and play. Wonderful sound. Very calming to play.

Pretty streight forward
If you just want to play around with it, it's really great for that. The letter stickers don't fit in there right and so it takes a long time trimming them down so they don't hang over. The sound and ease of use was just fine. I'd say for beginners, it's great.

New Indoor hobby
I wanted a Kalimba for awhile and I saw this one. I like the African animals designs. It's light weight and easy to carry where ever I go. The tuning is easy to do and the price was reasonable. As I am a beginner this is a great Kalimba to start with.

Play real music,, real fast.
Neat little cutouts of African animals suggest where the Kaletra originated. Staying in tune but can be tubed if needed. Storage case is good protection. I am going to buy more for my friends children.

Fun!
The kalimba came and I was learning and playing songs within the first week. It is just a fun and relaxing instrument. Well worth the money.
