I liked the fact that this item came with some fittings to get you going, and the extra pipe length represented good value here.That said, the copper coating doesn’t appear to be very substantial, so will reserve full judgement after seeing how long it lasts. Other customers have reported problems with the pipes going rusty after a short period in service, but I will wait and judge for myself on this, and will update my review if necessary.

I had an emergency where my brake line popped at the side of the road, ended up re-making all the brake lines in the back of my bmw z3 and this made it very easy! 100% would recommend.

The amount of copper covering this steel pipe is incredibly thin and not at all protective. The process of clamping for flaring will wear it off and expose it.Initially I was pleased with this because it came next day and fixed my immediate leak and allowed me to drive, but now 6 months later found by luck a puddle of brake fluid under the car, and found my shiny new repair was completely corroded and leaking.If this had popped while driving I could have lost brakes. I highly recommend avoiding this and suggest choosing a proper local motor factors to source some pipe that's passed some quality tests.
