Love these boots comfortable and waterproof this is my second pair

My husband is a big fan of Carhartt products, and was so excited when I ordered these boots. I personally appreciate the how fast they were delivered. He says they are very comfortable, true to size, and he got multiple compliments.

Good work boot. I purchased a lower size(12w) after reading reviews about the boots being on the larger side. Not the case, ended up exchanging them for my normal size(13w). Kept my feet dry and warm in the winter and dry in the spring and summer. I wear these every single day. The only reason for a 4-5 stars is the sidewall of the steel toe has blown out after only a year.

Excellent boot and good fit

worn these boots maybe 10 times and they are completely not waterproof. first few times I wore them they kept my feet dry. With that said, was rubbed raw all the way around my calf and heal because the boots fit so loosely ( all I wear are boots so I know my size which happen to be the recommended size that automatically pops up based on other past boot purchases). The loose fit is a matter of design and shape at where the foot meets the ankle and can't be fixed by doubling up on socks ( not enough room at the top of the foot, it just cuts of your circulation and has your foot throbbing in about 30 mins.) I should add I am in commercial construction in the Seattle area so they were actually tested for what they are advertised for. These boots are for show.

Make sure you get a larger size… even getting a 12W the toes were too tight for my feet when I normally don’t even require a wide boot. Maybe a 13W would have worked for a normal 12 but I’m not going back and forth to try on shoes.

These boots aren't meant for walking. I probably should have stuck to a mud well.Everything Carhartt mentions about the boots is true. As long as you don;t have to do too much walking it is going to be ok and very comfortable. The heal counter is molded for extra strength, which is true. Unfortunately in the inside there is a seam which cut through my heel and forced me to limp for several days. I ended up using a Dr. Scholls insert which solved the problem.I ordered the wide size to have some room for my toes, but it is still not enough. There is no way I can use wool socks with these boots. In the rest of the shoe it is quite roomy, but just not enough toe space. Maybe a bigger size, not the wide version, but the regular would've been better.
