Help for Migraine-Induced Photosensetivity
As someone who deals with chronic migraines I can attest that the glasses do help lower the photosensitivity which is occurs often before and during an attack. Would recommend those seeking relief to at least consider trying. Two complaints: For the price of the glasses Axon should have created the arms of the lens to be more adjustable for better fitting. Also, Since I already wear prescription glasses needed to order the "Cover-RX". The sole size they seemed to have was large (possibly as a "one size fits most"). However for those of us who wear small to medium-sized frames the Cover-Rx are somewhat larger than needed. Would have preferred a choice in smaller size frame...akin to Solar Shields (a regular sunglasses brand) who do offer a variety.

Wow! They are effective!
I ordered this product as i started to get migraines couple of days before my period. The headache lasts like 1 day. But is the light sensitivity that is unbearable and last month lasted almost 4 days, including some days within my period. I could not even sit and work in my computer.I felt like a vampire, i could not be under the sunlight.I received the two pairs quickly and that is when the miracle occurred! Boy are these glasses effective or what!It changes you light sensitivity immediately. and you go wow.. what the heck! :) in a good way.I would recommend to anyone with light sensitivity. Also, i also notice that eating liver helped. And started to research, so if you have migraines around your period. Check for iron and ferritin levels. And wear your Axon glasses! Good luck.

Lifesaver for migraines... but not pretty!
These glasses have been an absolute lifesaver for me in terms of migraines! I have had daily headaches and almost daily migraines for over a decade. These glasses instantly help to relieve the eye pain, referred neck pain, and nausea! I bought an indoor pair and an outdoor pair, and you will rarely see me without one of them on. I still get headaches, but my pain level has definitely been reduced by these glasses. They have made it possible for me to work a full day, and I am optimistic that they will be helpful for being outside in the sunshine more often!I would have given them five stars, but they are ridiculously huge... For this price, I would like to see a couple of size options and some flexibility in the ear pieces. If I bend over at all, they fall off. They are huge on my face and make me look like a bug... My students call them my "super spy goggles." Is it worth it? Yes! But I would sure like something that wasn't quite so enormous.

Not too dark
Perfect, not too dark, lightweight. Make a huge difference on my chronic migraines. Btw other styles including non fit overs are found on axiom.com. Great company with excellent customer service.

They do help
The frames do help somewhat with the glare of indoor lighting. My problem is that the glasses are so large they keep sliding down my nose, plus they're also too wide for my face. I wish they came in sizes, because I have been wearing them even with the discomfort they cause. Last evening I awoke from a nap with a horrible headache. I put these frames on over my regular glasses and the headache went away. Since I guess my face is considered small I'm planning on purchasing a pair of frames and sending them to Axon to fill the prescription the FL-41. I think that's a better option for my situation.

The Best! Great invest in my health!
JUNE 2018: I suffer from chronic migraine. I originally ordered the recommended glasses I saw online. I tried them and decided to give these a shot. These are darker than the leading brand and much easier on my eyes! I consider these a great invest in my health.UPDATE: AUGUST 2019: I still use these all of the time!! I believe you cannot go wrong with these. A lot of people think that they are cool, "I like your sunglasses" and I clarify that the are migraine glasses. I go nowhere without them in my purse.I want to clarify that this is NOT a paid advertisement, all of the above are true. I have seen too many company's sending extra gift cards to review their products that I have ordered.

Helped tremendously with persistent post-concussion syndrome headache
I ordered this product out of the hope that it would facilitate my ability to look at screens for a longer duration of time without headaches. I had sustained a not-at-fault accident with a (very) large truck and have light sensitivity as one of the persistent features. These glasses enabled me to extend time with screens without headaches to be fairly functional (versus not tolerating 10 minutes up to twice/hour consistently). I am super grateful and feel that the glasses helped me move beyond that small 10-minute stuck place. As for other options, even good blue light glasses (Blue Tech) did not prove helpful for me. I have come to understand that different light blocking glasses have different purposes, and that I experience light sensitivity versus the more common want of avoiding blue light. As for the fit-over frame, I had had serious doubts, as I have never tolerated fit-over glasses before -- the weight would create a headache by themselves. Happily, the CoverRx frames, although not perfectly comfortable to wear, say for the whole day, are comfortable enough to be functionally worn (I do wish they had nose pads though -- I have a minimal nose bridge). I often keep them on top of my head when I am not in front of a screen or near brighter lights. As for the company, they have been very supportive. They are a small business, and I find that the best way to communicate with them is via email, which initially was ironic as the minimal computer time I had was spent doing the essentials like bill paying. So, bottom line, if you are light sensitive and wear glasses, consider trying out the glasses. They made a world of difference to me.
