Nintendo World Mario Black - Nintendo DS Lite Complete Full Housing Shell Case Replacement Repair w/ Hinge Set

I purchased this to spiff up my aging DSLite with a cracked hinge. First of all, this design is cool as hell. I love Mario and wanted something that looked one of a kind. Note: This case ships from China, you will have to wait. but it arrived well under the minimum expected delivery time. Replacing the case is a time consuming chore. all in all it took me about 3 hours, but I was also replacing the upper screen which presents its own challenges. Everything comes with it, new D-Pad, Buttons, Sliders, Hinge, and tri-wing/phillips screwdrivers.I only have two complaints about this case. 1. right by the D-Pad there seems to be a place where the plastic had dripped while it was being produced. the drip doesnt effect anything, just kindof annoying and feels rough. 2. The bar that goes across the slot 1 to hold the screw was already cracked when i got it, but nothing a little dab of super glue couldnt fix. It isnt visible to anyone else once i put the screw in.All in all, do not attempt this is you value your DS or have no electronic skills at all. There is a good chance you may break something, or seriously damage the internal components. But if you're like me and had nothing to lose on a 7 year old DS and some rudimentary electronic knowledge give it new life with a flashy new case.
