The New Improved , XHose Pro Extreme is Super Lightweight, kink-free expanding garden hose with brass fittings and several major improvements. We have improved the way we attach our NEW THICKER &STRONGER outer webbing and NEW inner tube to the fitting by using the incredibly strong hydraulic compression method. This method helps to make a super tight and leak resistant connection. The XHose Pro EXTREME has a built-in stabilizer collar that provides strain relief if the hose is bent at the fitting. Just turn the water on and watch the hose expand, turn the water off and it automatically contracts. With the all the new improvements the XHose Pro Extreme is easier than ever to wash your car, work in the yard, and beyond!

Perfect for us and here is why
Lots of bad reviews about these hoses but we love ours. We live in the desert and I ruined one hose by dragging it against a cactus. Totally my fault, so we reordered another hose. We now own three of these hoses and they are primarily resting on cement as opposed to dirt or gravel. The instructions say not to frequently drag it across cement, but it's been a year and no problems so far. Instructions also say not to leave it sitting in direct sun. One hose does get more sun than the others but it's fine so far and it's often over 100 degrees here. I am sure that these hoses are not as durable as the rubber hoses BUT if your primary concern with traditional hoses have to do with the heavy weight and difficulty of maneuverability, then you would LOVE this hose! It's so light weight, it's easy to lift, carry and use, unlike a traditional hose. We still have one rubber hose near the garage and I hate every time I have to use it. The ease and convenience of this hose is worth every penny even if I had to buy one every few years. Last piece of advice...keep the sprayer off and allow the hose to fill up with water before you begin using it, and empty the hose before you put it away.

Love this hose!!!
I bought this hose 2 yrs ago!! I loved it. It just broke were it conects to the brass fitting blew up like a ballon and poped while i was watering my plants. I had one before as well, my mother bought at a home goods show and hers eventually broke to but it was so good while it lasted I wanted to take a chance and buy another. 2 years is more than i thought It would last based on the reviews. I took extra care of the 2nd one. I did not leave it in the sun. I kept in a special bucket so it wouldnt get damaged. i feel as though i got my moneys worth and i will be purchaseing another. The ease and convenience of it makes it worth every penny.

Warm it up the first time, or it will seem short.
Had an XHose and liked it so much we ordered two more of the "Pro New and Improved". Hooked them up and they seemed "short". Used them for a few days and requested return since they seemed like 25, not the 50footers ordered. Took pics of one on the Patio that showed it only 25.5ft. and packed it up for return. Went to the garden and was surprised to see that one was considerably longer, and noticed that it was in the Sun and warm. Measured it at about 49ft. extended. Unpacked the other hose and put it in the Sun and it also got to the 49 ft. Sooooo, warm them up, before you think they're short and go to return them.Great hoses, light, durable and way-better then the rigid hoses.

items purchased and paid for in good faith and now in the garbage with no recourse
I purchased five or more of these hose's for two different locations. They started being used this spring and here maybe four to five months later, four of them have already gotten holes in them and are of no use any longer. This is highway robbery....money thrown out the window, items purchased and paid for in good faith and now in the garbage with no recourse. All hose's were kept rolled on hose hangers and used very little, always being emptied of all water when done. These should be off the market until perfected and this company certainly owes restitution. Will never buy again or recommend to anyone.

Great hose, I bought 2!
The hose is exactly as advertised. I've had a few "like" this but not the actual Xhose. The brass ends make a difference. Also the black color works better as the blue or green hoses attracted the dog because they looked like toys and chewed them. The dog leaves the black one alone. The flow control on the end is very nice for washing cars and not leaving the hose running. The one thing you can't do with this hose is have it fully extended and have very slow flow, as it needs water pressure to extend the hose.

Find something better
I purchased this hose 2 yrs. ago and use it as instructed. It is used only from May - September and then stored. It sprung a leak this afternoon. How greatly improved is this item? It is never left on with water pressure keeping expanded. It has been in used around 10 months total, stored in the shade, not allowed to sit in moisture. Quality? I’m not sure I agree.

Don't buy-giant rip off
i buy an x hose at least once a year. I buy them because of the size and weight of the hose. Unfortunately their new and improved hose is worse then their old hose. The hoses usually last about a year if you take care of them (i.e. Draining them after each use, storing them in a cool dry area). The new and "improved" hose didn't last even two months under normal conditions. The outer nylon shroud, stated breaking and tearing, allowing the inner hose to protrude and pop. Forget about the 90 day warranty offered by the manufacturer. I have been working with the manufacturer for close to three weeks trying to get a replacement hose, and they keep loosing my information so I can't get the hose replaced. I'm still trying to get them to replace the hose, but at this point I think they are trying to let the 90 day warranty to expire so they don't have to replace the hose. Very poor customer relations!

I've had other expandable hoses (green ones) and they exploded ...
I've had other expandable hoses (green ones) and they exploded from a bubble inside the material. But this one is holding up. I bought one and thought I'd wait to replace the other one til I seen if this would hold up. Well, it passed the test of summer temps in Las Vegas, so I bought another one for the other side of the house. TIP:I do put it in a deep planters pot with a beach towel over it to cover from direct sun light, though. just to be safe. And I rarely use a spray gun on the end because the pressure from the hose itself is strong enough.
