YARONGTECH RFID Card Reader, USB RFID Proximity Sensor Smart ID Card Reader EM4100 (10H)

I ordered this unit in 10H and and it arrived with a 10D configuration.I contacted their customer service and they sent me a small program to re-flash the unit.It now reads the correct 10H (Hexadecimal) output.It's a nice unit, backed up by excellent Customer Service from Yarongtech dot com.

Before a trip I used this to test 5 supposedly RFID secure holders and 4 of 5 failed.

Simple, no drivers to set up. To use open notepad and plug included usb cord into device and into computer. It will beep once powered on and has a red light while waiting. Light turns green when it scans and has a confirmation beep. Scanned info goes into the open notepad document.Got this to test RFID blocking wallets. It will only scan the two included cards. It will not scan my work badge’s RFID tag or any wireless/contactless pay credit cards. Still can do the job by scanning included cards and then placing them in sleeves or wallet to scan to check if they really are RFID blocking. So far only on advertised “rfid blocking” wallets or sleeves stopped the signal.
