Katie Daisy 2021 On-the-Go Weekly Planner: 17-Month Calendar with Pocket (Aug 2020 - Dec 2021, 5" x 7" closed): Hello Beauty

I don't write reviews very often, but I am so impressed with this little planner that I had to come say something.First of all, it is gorgeous! Every single page is decorated with fabulous illustrations...and they are all different, so you are not looking at the same thing for a year and a half. Each month has it's own illustration, and all the weekly pages are variations on that theme. If you like the illustrations they are showing you in the description, I am pretty confident that you will love all the illustrations in this planner.I got this planner to take with me in my purse and it has been great for that. The size is about 5x7 inches, and it is about an inch thick to start. If you are someone who likes to add loads and loads of stickers and ephemera in your planner, you may have a little trouble with that, as it is a year and a half worth of pages plus some for notes/goals and dreams/gratitude pages. I have a few stickers in randomly and it is not an issue so far, but if you like loading up every page, you would end up with quite the pudgy planner! As I said, I carry it with me in my purse and the weight difference is negligible, unlike my previous planner, which felt like a ton of bricks and was bulky. There is a pocket at the front of the planner and I easily keep a thin 3x5 notebook in it.In regards to pens, I have been using Pilot Hybrid Technica gel pens with very minimal show through, as well as ballpoint pens and pencils. Sakura Gelly Rolls and Zebra Mildliners have more show through, but not enough to make me want to scream or anything. The pages are slightly on the thin side, but not so much that it is unpleasant to use, and honestly, if they were thicker, considering the amount of planner you are getting (a year and a half's worth), it would be too bulky to carry/comfortably use, in my opinion. It is spiral bound and two standard pens will fit in the binding.And then there's the price. I paid around 11 dollars for this planner, and I can honestly say, having held it in my hands, I would have paid at least double for it without batting an eye! And I am a cheapskate! This planner is a steal and a half.Finally, I just want to mention that if there are any art journalers reading this review, buy this planner! The illustrations on these pages would make such great ephemera for a journal! Even if you don't use it for a planner, you could pull out some of the pages to use for ephemera and be left with a great start to an art journal or junk journal! I'm seriously going to buy a second one and do that very thing!

Although I use the calendar on my phone, nothing replaces an actual real “planner”. I used to use a large planner at work to keep track of both work and personal things, but since I lost my job in March due to the pandemic, I haven’t been using a planner. Let me tell you- I’ve been so disorganized without a planner all these months- post it notes all over the place- things weren’t getting done efficiently, at all! 😳 I decided I need a planner for home. I loved this planner right away- it’s absolutely beautiful! It’s the right size, and I like that I can use it right away, but that it also still lasts until December, 2021. This is the perfect planner for home use. I will never go without a home planner again. I highly recommend. 👍UPDATE:** After using the planner consistently now, I find that I don’t like it when the weeks are split up. Most of the time it’s not like that, but when a month ends on certain days of the week, you see half the week, and then the other half of the week is separated by multiple pages. I find that to be annoying. And, although I love how beautiful the pages are, I think there are just too many pages, which makes it harder to find the page I’m looking for if I’m looking for a specific note, or something, so I had to take a star off. Still a great planner, though.

I am a planner snob. I use an Erin Condren ($$$) for work and a Happy Planner/Bullet Journal Hybrid for life ($$). I used to carry my HP with me, as it held all of my calendar information. However, I recently stopped carrying my larger bag and wanted a smaller calendar to throw in my purse. I ordered this one on a whim, expecting nothing more than a cute, purse size planner that I could write appointments/meetings in and carry with me to prevent me from double booking myself (I hate digital calendars).As soon as I opened it, I fell in love. This artwork is gorgeous. I had no idea it would contain so many quotes, or the beautiful notes pages. This is more than a calendar, this is a true planner, and I LOVE it. It's larger than I expected, but still fits in my purse. It has ALL the holidays, including the pagan ones, and the moon phases. And again, it is just GORGEOUS. It makes me smile to look at it.The weekly pages have a lot more room than I expected. I could honestly use this as a legitimate planner, which is amazing at this price point.The only reason I deducted a star was because the back cover was not attached.

I bought a workbook from Katie Daisy and instantly fell in love with her beautiful illustrations. You can tell she has a very pure and deep love of nature from how wonderfully she paints her subjects. They have an almost ethereal and whimsical quality to them. So when I saw that there was a 2020-2021 planner I decided to get this as well. I really love all of the illustrations but the planner itself is also quite nice. There is adequate space for writing in each day, as well as pages in each month for notes, gratitude, etc. The paper is actually quite thick and not at all like copy paper. I did experience some bleed through with my Staedtler fineliners but not with the Sakura micron pens. It was not too bad though and because the pages are usually colored or have illustrations, you can’t really see it so much either. I bought one of these for myself and one for my niece and we both love it. I also feel constantly inspired to paint and get out in nature. Not really something to base your purchase on but it works for me :D

I usually buy my planners from indigo which costs me about $35 so I was looking for something a bit cheaper. Katie Daisy has a bigger planner for that cost which was really tempting to purchase but I opted for the smaller one because of the price. It is amazing quality and the pictures are absolutely stunning. This is the prettiest planner I’ve ever had. I was a bit concerned about the size of the pages since my writing is average/large but as you can see the monthly overview is a bit small but the weekly planning is more than enough space to write things and make small lists. The pages feel thick and nice and the size is comfortable. I love the extra pages for notes, it gives this planner the ‘something extra’ I was looking for. Great planner, I definitely recommend this!!

This is the second time that I bought this particular planner because I love my first one SO MUCH! Each page is adorned with delightful illustrations from the natural world suitable to the season. Interspersed with calendar pages are pages for writing notes, gratitudes and goals. Starts in August and runs until Dec. 2021,and ends with a few pages for addresses and to note special things about special people.There is no 'expense' spared in this little book, meaning there is such an abundance of delight within it's covers, turning each day or month's page is a genuine joy. There is also an matching elastic page-marker attached. I will definitely keep buying this each year as long as it continues to be published.

I find agendas very helpful in keeping organized, and I also really want it to be beautiful so I’m inspired to use it. I looked for a long time before finding this one and it’s perfect for my needs. It has gorgeous illustrations through the entire book, even on calendar spaces, as well as inspiring quotes and areas to write goals and such. I highly recommend.
