Amazing For Sun Glare
I looked at a lot of these before pulling the trigger on this one. I'm really glad I did - it works so well! It's cut down on a ton of glare from the sun which means I can actually see my backup camera in the afternoons! I really appreciate that it just pops right into the CD tray - a lot of the others I was looking at had adhesive tape. This makes really easy to put on and take off whenever. I'm using it in a 2016 Subaru Outback, but the 7-inch size seems like a pretty standard fit.

left me wishing for a standard double-din size
I don't have Prius (thank goodness), but I do have a standard size, double din car stereo that suffers from really bad glare. I haven't been in a Prius on a bright, sunny afternoon, so I don't know how bad that glare is, but I'm fairly confident mine is worse. I figured this was worth a shot since I don't know where my sleeve of CD's is anyway. Their are 2 problems with the fit on a standard size double din stereo. Problem 1 is the side pieces that come down. Instead of coming straight down, they angle in. Since my standard size double din stereo is a rectangle shape, the width of the bottom (distance between side flaps) needs to be the same as the width at the top (distance from same side flaps) and it's not. I tried bending them and whatnot, but the more I tried to make the bottom happy, the more the top came away from the cd player, which created a gap, which made the entire thing pointless. Now I don't even remember what problem 2 is, dangit. Anyway, I discovered an adequate solution. I popped off one of the side flaps. and ran a piece of electric tape along the top. Now it's usable in ways I only dreamed of. I can actually read stuff on my screen around dusk and dawn, as well as at night.

Works perfectly
Fit my 2019 nissan titan sv as if it was made for it. Well worth buying, this nissan camera needs all the help it can get. Helps with backing up safely. Fit in the cd player and has no gaps around it. The first brand I bought I tossed. This is simple but needed and very nice and practical. Highly recommend product and seller.

'14 Tacoma - shade doesnt sit flush
3 stars for my application. Kinda expensive for what it is, especially given it doesnt really fit right. It still works well enough but theres a decent sized gap all the way around. It wont push into the CD player all the way, gonna need to trim the plastic to see if i can customize it.Also it presses against the volume/tuning knobs on the entune, but i rarely use them so thats not a huge issue for me.

Quite Practical
All this does is shade the car console screen, but it's so practical. Before, I had to use my hand to try to block the sun to read the back-up camera view or navigation map. This small item reduces that need. Admittedly, it does block the use of your CD player, but that's not a problem for me.

Absolutely Ineffective on a 2015 Subaru Impreza
The 2015 Impreza already has a terrible display in the dash (then again it's nearly 10 years old), however, this shade does absolutely nothing to help visibility in sun. Great concept yet failed execution. Do not buy this product expecting to gain any visibility advantage in sunlight.
