A Great Deal. Works Great. Fun to plink with.
I received this item about 6 weeks ago and I've mounted it on everything from a high pressure airgun to an AR-15 to a Ruger Scout. Overall, I have a very positive opinion of the RS-25 Reflex Sight. For the price point, it is a good bargain. The optic came in a sturdy cardboard box, with hard foam padding. It was easy to open and kept the item securely stowed away. Came with a spare allen wrench (installation, adjustment of windage/elevation), spare battery, directions, and a little cloth to dust the lense with. The instructions are super easy to read and explain every step of installation/operation. Simple, but professional and efficient. I wish all firearm accessory companies could do that.Installation was super easy. If you know how an allen wrench works, its a breeze to mount this optic on any picatinny rail. I mounted it on an Umarex Morph, Ruger 10/22, a Stag Arms LH AR-15 upper, a Ruger Scout, and a few airsoft models as well. On and off in no time. It has been on my everyday ranch AR-15 for over 3 weeks now and I haven't had to tighten or adjust the mountings at all. It has been fired, bounced around in my jeep, laid on gun racks, and bumped around the woods with no failure. Hard to criticize somethin that works as advertised.I was able to use this optic at high noon on a sunny Oklahoma day with ease. I preferred the dot/circle reticle setting. You may have to bump the brightness up to an 8 or 9 to see under bright daylight, but it goes all the way to 11, so no worries. In an attempt to test the battery, I let mine running for over a week on setting 4 (what i like for indoors) and it kept goin strong. Been using it for about a month without any noticable dimming. Battery life seems to last.Fit and Finish is clean. It looks comparable to many optics of a higher price. The sturdy aluminum seems pretty tough. The ergonomics are super easy to understand. Would be nice if the markings were engraved instead of just painted on, but thats me being picky.I can attest that this optic can survive 2 falls from chest height to a lightly carpeted floor. I butterfingered this device not once, but twice while moving it from one rail to another. No marks, no cracks, no signs of damage from either fall.A dust cover might be a nice addition to this item. That lil dust cloth comes in handy. A simple, but sturdy build. It has held a zero for 3 weeks, during A LOT of carrying, and around 100 rounds. I've been impressed by it. I was expecting a much lower quality item for the price. Just over fifty bucks when I bought it, it outperforms several $100+ optics that are now sitting on the shelf. I expect it to stay on my AR until I am able to replace it with a magnification scope. After that, I intend to mount it on my crossbow or mount in on my niece's upcoming AR build. For up close plinking, this optic is just a lot of fun. I may have to buy another to keep as a backpack spare for camping trips.I'd be happy to call this optic a perfect value EXCEPT for a strange flaw in the brightness setting. Somehow, setting number 6 is the brightest setting of all by a very visible margin. Perhaps my model had a small production error. Strangely, it comes in kind of handy while trying to adjust this optic in the dark. If my reticle suddenly shifts from a solid red image to the glaring eye of an angry volcano god, I know I am dead center on my adjustment knob. It is such a useful mistake, I honestly wonder if it isn't a feature they neglected to mention in the manual! Still,.. I can tell its a flaw in the build. The one major criticism I have. :(Despite this, I can easily suggest the RS-25 to anyone looking for an economical Reflex Sight.

It WORKS!!! High quality and budget friendly!!!
Great red dot for the money!!! This reflex red dot sight is a very good quality budget friendly optic, great for those who are just getting into the red dot scene or those who just want a decent red dot on a budget build. This red dot came packaged very nice, with two batteries, lens cloth and allen wrench that not only works for the screws for the mount but also works for the windage and elevation screws...which I think is great!!! I mounted mine on an old 9mm carbine, that was due for an optic upgrade. I really like the four different reticle options (see pictures) and the eleven brightness setting, which are great so you can accommodate for those bright sunny days or low light periods of the day. The reticle/illumination knobs have a distinct click to indicate each adjustment. Now as far as adjusting the sights it was fairly easy as well, like I said they included the tool. I will say that you may have to play with the movements to get it dialed in, you can feel the clicks as you make your windage/elevation adjustments. It is supposed to be 1 MOA per click but honestly it may be off slightly or I may have missed the feel of a few of the clicks while making the adjustments. Once the optic was zeroed in it shot very well and held its zero on this 9mm carbine. As you can see in the picture it grouped very good on a 3” round target at 50yrds. I will say that the smallest reticle dot was best for tighter grouping. With all this being said, I would highly recommended this to anyone looking for a nice quality, inexpensive, light weight, easy to use red dot.

Nice Optics.
The unit look nice and light weight. The reticle in not solid or clear in all 4 types. It is ghosted or bleeding and looks 4 or 5 different lines or dots. I ordered a replacement to make sure that it is not a random defect unit. Thanks to Amazon for sending the replacement promptly. Unfortunately, the replacement also has the same problem, ghosted or bled. After about 150 rounds at the range, now the battery compartment / brightness adjustment knob become loose and the reticle disappeared randomly. Though I like the look and feel, it is not working for me and I have to return it.Update 12/16/2020The seller contacted me and offered me a new unit free to replace the defected one. This is the 1st time I was ever contacted first by the seller and I changed my rating to 4 stars due to great customer service and also for part of my initial review was not accurate. I will update again after I have a chance to test the product itself for how it’s holding up after a few hundred rounds.I wanted to update an important fact of my inaccurate initial review that “the reticles are ghosting or bleeding”. I found out after I bought an expensive model (about 6 times higher price) and having the same problem and after some research; it was not the problem with the product but it is my eye-sight. I am a near sighted and I needed to wear my glass to use this Reflex sights. IF YOU ARE NEAR-SIGHTED, YOU NEED TO WEAR YOUR GLASS TO USE THIS SIGHT or you will see several reticles. I hope this updated review is helpful to someone who has the same problem as me.
