Replacement Joystick for Nintendo Switch lite, Repair Joystick Replacement Tool Kit for Switch lite and Nintendo Joycon Controller

My son has fingernails stronger than mine and he wore down the grip so bad. I’ve been dying to replace them and I’m so glad I got these! Fairly easy to replace if you’re somewhat familiar with electronics. These look and feel close to the original if not better! So far they are working perfectly. I might buy more to have on hand just in case. Definitely recommend.

It’s not that easy to repair but if you follow a guide on YouTube very carefully you’ll be okay. Be very careful with the ribbons when repairing, I tore one thankfully only needed to repair 1 joystick.

Exactly what I needed to fix my son’s switch, he somehow managed to snap his joy con in half on his switch lite. I appreciated the extra screws, I wish they would’ve included the smaller size screws too.

Product arrived well packaged with all tools included. However the screws included for the thumb sticks are TOO long. Make sure to keep the originals that are already in the switch to prevent damaging your game system.

before i start my review i just want to be clear if your right joystick is broken it is a very complicated fix. it requires taking apart the entire switch and unless you are experienced you are probably better off sending your switch to nintendo for fixing. (just be sure you get all your stuff off your switch before sending for repairs tho bc they might wipe the switch clean when they fix it)Now if you are trying to repair the left joystick its super easy and this kit is perfect. I've never once taken apart anything and im not very tech savvy but i had zero problems repairing my switch. I followed along with a youtube video step by step and i think it took a max of 15 minutes to complete. I used a piece of paper to label exactly where the screws came from so i wouldnt be confused and reassembling the switch was so simple i didnt even need to watch the rest of the video it was all very straight forward.so to sum up: if you are replacing the left joystick i truly believe anyone can do it and this kit comes with absolutely everything necessary. all you need is this kit and an easy to follow youtube video and youll have a working switch again. BUT if you need to replace the right joystick and you are not experienced with tech repair you would probably be better off skipping this diy kit and just going through nintendos repair service.

Perfect! The tools included made swapping out the old joysticks much easier. Now my switch lite works like brand new.

The part was difficult to install and my father had trouble turning the game console back on after installation. So he had to uninstall and re-install several times. It did eventually turn on but the display was gone. We tried to reset the game console several times but it did not fix the display problem.
