Works with Square BUT..
This item is very nice. It's small and lightweight and comes with a lanyard so you can keep it on you at all times. The programing book and card are very helpful for set up. I use mine via Bluetooth to my iPad, in which the iPad connects into the Square POS dock. So, yes it does work with Square so long as you use the iPad POS version and only that. You will need to set it up though as a keyboard to get it to work. Luckily the setup booklet tells you how to do that. Also, do not lose the set up book or little card that comes in the box. These items have all of the set up functions for the scanner and it can only be set up that way. If anything, take photos and save them on an excel or drive in case you need to reference them for later.

If you think you need it, get it.
A breeze to set up via bluetooth on my work laptop. Feels pretty solid, which is a good thing considering I work at a warehouse with concrete flooring. Lightweight and small it slides in my vest pocket at work so I don't have to carry around a scanner all day.The battery is a little small I feel, and it takes some time to charge- especially considering the only way I've been able to get it to charge is by turning it on and leaving it plugged in by USB to my PC, it doesn't seem to want to charge via a faster wall power adapter.I like that it came with a retractable clip, so that I can leave it hooked to my vest and not accidentally set it down somewhere and lose it- but this broke after a rather short period of time. But I just wound up replacing it with a beefier clip I got off amazon.

Some config barcodes incorrect in manual
Works great for scanning data to be entered as plain text on a computer or phone! I was remaking some of the barcodes for a README doc when I caught a couple typos in the manual...- code to switch to USB Dongle is actually %#IFSNO#1 (manual says number zero instead of an 'O')- code for Low-Volume is actually $BUZZ#3 (manual left off the 3)

I am a fan of the scan
This is such a handy, easy scanner. It required no installs or setup to use, I just had to plug in the USB bluetooth dongle. I love the way I can clip it to my shirt or belt for scanning while I'm on the move with the help of the included retractable clip. The battery is fairly impressive for such a little device. I've only charged it once when I first bought it several months ago. It goes to sleep after a few minutes to save the battery from my inability to remember to turn it off. What impressed me the most was their customer service. There are multiple barcodes included with the scanner which allow the user to change what happens after a scan (automatically hit Tab, Enter, etc.). The program we use requires us to hit the down arrow after each scan, which the scanner is not programmed to do, and there was no barcode included to achieve this. I reached out to Netum to see if there was a way, and they quickly replied with the correct series of barcodes I needed to scan to automatically "arrow down" after scanning a product. Awesome.I can't say I had the highest expectations when I bought this relatively inexpensive scanner from Amazon, but all in all, I cannot think of a single thing I would change about this product if I had the chance. It is small but mighty, and has real people behind it.

Buyer beware
Unfortunately, my experience with the Netum C750 barcode scanner was disappointing. The device stopped working after only two months of use, specifically failing to charge. When I contacted Netum for support, they initially suggested troubleshooting steps and asked for a video demonstration of the issue. After providing the video, Netum advised me to disassemble the scanner, which resulted in accidental damage to the retaining clips and battery wires. Their subsequent suggestion to repair the scanner by replacing the motherboard or soldering wires was impractical, as I don't own soldering equipment and felt this level of repair was unreasonable for a relatively new device. After insisting on a replacement under warranty, Netum eventually agreed but informed me the replacement would be a used, tested machine. Upon receiving the replacement, I discovered it wasn't even the same model as my original purchase. Instead of the C750, I received the NT-1228bc, a $35 rugged scanner model. This experience has been particularly concerning because I have purchased 12 of these scanners for my warehouse, and now I'm actively looking for alternative suppliers that can provide more reliable products and better customer support. While Netum did attempt to resolve the issue, the overall experience was frustrating. The quick failure of the original scanner, the suggestion to perform complex repairs myself, and ultimately receiving a different, less expensive model as a replacement left me unsatisfied with both the product and customer service.Update: Of the 12 I bought since December, four have stopped working. Its the end of March.UPDATE 4/17/25: 6 of 12 not working
