The Kissing Hand (The Kissing Hand Series) Paperback – August 4, 2020

Was the perfect way to introduce the idea of preschool to my two year old for her first drop of preschool. We still years later talk about the kissing hand to this day!

I bought my first copy of this book when my granddaughter was ready to start kindergarten 13 years ago. It quickly became a favorite of hers and we continue to enjoy a special bond that the story created between us. We’ve read it together frequently through the years when she has come to visit. We often end our texts with two emoji that we interpret as ‘kissing hand’. I just bought her this copy of her own to give her when she graduates from high school later this month, and believe that she’ll eventually enjoy sharing it with her own children if she chooses to have them.

Beautiful book. Bought these for my great Granddaughters and they were thrilled. Their parents were too.

This was one of my son's favorite books when he was little. He used to have a lot of anxiety when he first started school and I bought this for him at the book fair. I read it to him almost every morning and would give him a kissing hand every day when I dropped him off at school. Shortly before his grandmother passed we made the drive to go see her when she was in the hospital. He was only 6 and he told her not to be afraid because he would always be with her and told her about the kissing hand and he gave her one to keep next to her heart. She passed a few days later and he said it helped him to remember about that.

Sweet story. Gave it as a Baby Shower gift in place of a card.

We bought this after our three year-old was having some problems adjusting to going to a pre-preschool. We read this every morning and every night before bed. He loves this book. He calls it the raccoon book and it even comes with little stickers that you can give them to help Remind them while they’re at school that it’s not so bad and that mom or dad will always be there to come and pick you up when the school days over

The cutest book; really helped during home to pre k.

As someone new to the mental health field, I was really excited to come across this book! This is an excellent book for parents to read to their children before they start school. It is also the perfect read for children who have separation anxiety or are more anxious overall. It reinforces that Mommy always loves and cares about me, even if she is not right beside me. The storyline is great, and the pictures are adorable! I would definitely recommend it!
