Even if your children have never been exposed to Adventures in Odyssey, this devotional is still a good one!

Our family of six is loving this book! Our kids love AIO and their delight of the characters and story line makes them participate in these devotions so well! A great Christmas idea!

I bought this to go along with our homeschool curriculum this year as we are going through the book of Matthew for Bible Class. I was a bit nervous about how it would play out as my kids (8 and 6 years old) haven’t listened to many Adventures in Odyssey and I wasn’t sure if a lot of it would be over their heads. I’m so glad I took the plunge and got it. They’re enjoying it and, honestly, so am I. It’s even encouraged and convicted *me* a couple times! Definitely worth the purchase!!

Absolutely love this devotional. I do this with my kids at night and find that even I get something out of each devotional. I love that they take a scripture passage and tie it to a story that is in a context kids can relate to and explain the parables or stories in the Bible in a simple and applicable way.

So far this devotional has met our expectations. My children aged 12 and 9 enjoyed the first 90 day devotional from Adventures in Odyssey and we were looking for another one. We tried the mealtime devotional from Adventures in Odyssey and were disappointed. This one is based on the book of Matthew. One portion of Matthew is read each day and then the devotional gives a story or some example that relates to the passage. It holds the kids attention as well as teaches them truth.

All five of our kids enjoy this devotional and it's not too cheesy for Mom & Dad either. Would also recommend the Adventure In Odyssey CD lessons. They don't go together, but are both useful resources.

I was looking for something somewhat in depth but not overwhelming. Easy enough for one child to help read and the other child to not tune out. Keeps us on track through one book and when its devotion time my kids ask to take turns reading it.

My 9 year old son loves reading these devotions each morning. They are clear, concise and really help him understand God's Word. We've had some great discussions. The daily challenge portion helps him put what he has learned into action.
