We feed wet food to a lot of stray cats on our property, but the yellow jackets love the cat food so we use the butterfly net to swoop the yellow jackets from the cat food, and we catch them in this net and step on them. By the way, we have captured all the cats and had them fixed (also known as TNR - trap, neuter and return).

Works great for catching bugs and crawdads and has a great reach for catching butterflies. Is durable.

This is a solid little net and I'd recommend it. The one star deduction was because sometimes the extendable pole will release if not tightened sufficiently.

I am comfortable with this net trying to catch small birds such as hummingbirds. Occasionally they get into the garage and cannot find their way out.

We had tons of carpenter bees at our cabin. This net is great for catching those bees that eat your house. This was my second purchase. My first nets lasted 2 years and we use them all the time to catch carpenter bees.

The net looks sturdy and well made.I originally intended to capture a bird that intruded into my house but got out on it's own volition.Maybe I'll play catch and release with some winged buties.
