Made For Amazon, Battery Base for Echo (4th generation). Not compatible with previous generations of Echo or Echo Dot (1st Gen, 2nd Gen, or 3rd Gen).

This was the second one I bought and the first one is still going strong for my other echo. It's great to be able to take outside and move it around without worrying about plugging it in.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:First off, I never owned Alexa product before until I received an echo for Christmas. I absolutely feel in love with it. It keeps me organized but most importantly I am a Musico Phile, so quality sound matters to me. My only drawback with I could take my music with me to play on it out in the shop. Until I found out a battery base can be purchased. What a gamer changer. It gets a easy 4 hours of play time on a charge.

Would buy again.

Once I plugged this stylish battery in the Echo 4, the fabulous ball of confusion is mobile. When playing music It has good range and sounds great all over my property. Charge was straight forward and looks awesome attached. I find the "on - off" button a handy feature, to conserve power.First bothersome issue, I noticed my Echo 4 unit is not as mic responsive when on battery, and sometimes has a loss of sync with other grouped devices in home Alexa network. Echo 4 learning issues is possible culprit. Or less power draw to mic. etc...Echo 4 commands not working directly to unit and actions do not respond as well when on the battery verse AC power plug. Getting all Echo units to sync in app with existing groups has been sluggish and not the same as before. Command confusion were my initial issues. My other Echo units not syncing and doing separate actions. Start over and change groups is best when introducing this echo 4 and battery combo into your Alexa network.Having a movable extra speaker is so cool. But where is the handle Mission Engineers?So far its plug in play ability within existing groups has not been up to my expectations and I expect will get better. Be prepared to re sync this if planning massive mobility, and leave speaker groups in one setup. Do not change once working! This Echo 4 likes to be a control freak and wants to be the only device when paired to battery. ITS ALIVE!!! Cool accessory for Echo 4 but be prepared to have some trivial technical curves in your speaker groups... Great accessory! Rating would be Five star with a handle...

I’m really impressed with my Alexa and the portable stand! The stand makes it so easy to move Alexa around the house, and I no longer have to worry about plugging it into a socket every time I want to use it in a different room. The battery lasts for a long time, allowing me to enjoy all of Alexa's features without interruptions. It’s a super practical setup that adds even more convenience to my daily routine. I highly recommend this combination for anyone who wants more flexibility and portability with their Alexa device!

I keep an echo in my shed/workshop so can have some music while doing stuff in there. It's nice that I can just "grab and go" to take it to "the job site" wherever it is around my house. By being connected to the wi-fi I don't have to worry about the music cutting out because I took my phone too far away. I can usually get through most projects before returning to the wall plug.

I initially thought this was pretty cool to have, because i never liked the fact that the Echo had to stay plugged in a certain spot to work. None the less his is my 2nd echo. lol I do like it. But I thought with this newer looking echo let me try this base. So there were instructions but none that tell you to unscrew this little cap off the echo where the echo needs to sit. Point is Im pretty tech savvy but i had to call the amazon customer service rep and she couldn't figure it out either. SMH In the end of all that I realized something on the echo had to be removed for the base to sit.Ok the other issue is I thought once charged the base would have a long charge. NOPE it doesn't, Not good. And most days i do not even use my echo b/c im at work. By the next day and with little use the batter is dead and therefore you need to plug it up and charge it again. Might as well just keep the echo itself plugged in all day. smhThis base is not the optimal base as it doesn’t keep charge for very long using the echo or not.
