A little fiddly to swap over but we'll worth the results. I got the black shell and paired it with a set of black buttons also from extremerate and black analogue sticks bought elsewhere.......looks great!

The shell i got was well made, nice texture to it instead of being just hard plastic it feels soft and velvety. Much nicer to hold in my opinion.It was surprisingly easy to swap the shells over, very tedious finicky work however, the scariest part is separating the screen from the previous shell. I've also replaced the buttons and joysticks as both had stick drift. All is working perfectly and I'm very happy!I'm eyeing up the scarlet steam deck one, that'll be done next lol

CHECK YOU CAN DO THIS FIRST.two of the screws INSIDE my switch had like eroded away making them impossible to unscrew so I couldnt actually do it 🥺🥺🥺you will also need tweezers, glue gun and a hairdryer.its not their fault my screws were messed up and other than that everything they sent and the video on youtube was really good 👍

Amazing !!! In depth youtube tutorial made the installation super easy to do. Comes with a couple of really good (and handy!) screwdrivers, and a bunch of extra screws which again, just make everything so easy.The actual casing feels nice and smooth to touch and is soooo comfy to hold .. a lot nicer than the original casing, in fact !!My only issue with it is that the game card slot cover is quite stiff to open and i always end up hurting my nail lol. Definitely not a deal breaker, but it is annoying.Overall super pleased with this ! I also bought button replacements from the same seller to make my switch all black and couldn’t be happier with the result - well worth it ! :D

I was worried before doing this that I would end up with a broken switch, however the process went perfectly following the helpful video on how to change the shell.The shell feels really nice, quite a soft velvety texture compared to the original more plastic feeling case. There were two very tiny chips in the shell but apart from that it is really good quality and fit perfectly. The spare screws, buttons and screwdrivers were really handy.Took about 3 hours going slowly, would definitely recommend this to anyone thinking of trying it!

I absolutely love this! It was difficult, scary, and time-consuming to do but in my opinion well worth it, I love the way my switch looks! It feels exactly how I wanted it to and I even bought some nintendo stickers for the back of it to really make it look great. The kit had everything I needed and the instructional video was definitely necessary for me and very helpful - figuring out which screws went where was tricky though. Overall, absolutely love the outcome!

Looks exactly like an oem Nintendo Switch shell, except that there is no logo on the back.This is not for someone who does not have a lot of patience as there are lots of small little parts within the switch lite that you need to take out and put back in.

The back shell was bent and has a crack.
