For better or for worse. Love a band who encourages and respects great heckling. The Vandals and Dead Milkmen may contain pop culture references that could be lost on younger listeners, but lyrics to songs like the Cowboy Song will forever remain relevant.

Love that all this great music from my teen years is now available in digital format

This was one of my favorite albums in high school. I love having it in MP3 format and sharing it with my teenagers!

I've had the original CD release for years. This has always been my favorite Vandals record. I never liked the original sound quality. So when saw that this was reissued I picked it up. The sound quality and packaging of this Cd was so great I ordered their second album "When In Rome".It doesn't have all the tracks the original had which is a bummer. I guess Chi-com couln't get the rights for "H.B Hotel". Thats fine I guess.If your looking at this then your probably familar with the Vandals. This sounds nothing like the Vandals of the 1990s which is comedy pop-punk. It has of a more punk sound.It starts with "Wanna be a Manor" wich is totally awsome. Than it goes to my personal favorite "Urban Cowboy" which was a pretty big undergound hit in the early 80s. It also appeared on the movie "Suburbia". Than it goes into "Legend of Pat Brown" which was also an underground hit. This song is about being in the magic Kingdom while on L.S.D. Than it goes into "Pirates Life". Than it finishes off in one favorite Vandals songs "Anarchy Burger (Hold the Government)", a song the Vandals still play at their shows.If your a Vandals fan or punk fan you need to pick this up. This one the greatest punk releases ever. What else makes it cool it's the very first E.P epitaph records ever put out. So check it out.

Great album ! As a side note . The label that reissued the release is a commie label which is a little ironic , the whole capitalist thing and all ;)

Excellent stuff from the early hardcore era, but anyway it's unsatisfying to release a ten-minute cd these days... Og for the expanded edition (which I thought I did!).
