Mauviel Made In France M'Heritage Copper M150B 1.7-Quart Saucepan with Lid, Bronze Handle

I love my Mauviel saucepan. Sturdy and very heat responsive. The handle design is not the most ergonomical, I admit, but the combination of copper plus bronze gives it a mesmerizing look. I use it to make sauces, purées and small batches of rice. A must have for the serious cook.

I have been buying Mauviel copper products for many years. I prefer the brass handles because they look better to me than other styles. Pan is fine. Quality is fine. Works fine. Only issue is the craftsmanship on the eye hole in the handle is suboptimal. It has a rough edge as though they neglected to smooth it down properly. This is a very subtle defect, and I actually am annoyed that I have to waste time doing this review. But I felt morally obligated to say something. And I know Mauviel appreciates this feedback and will jump to action in their quality control section. (I will not say the name of the person who "inspected" it prior to letting it depart the factory. ha! risible!)

when I received this item, many stains on the lid, I know Mauviel's quality, so I still use it.The quality is good, but there is no way to have that many stains!!! UGLY!!
