the book print is so nice

I am not a text book person usually, but this book is gold. I use it constantly for school and personal projects. It should be on ever graphic designer's shelf.

Beautiful and very helpful book. A must, I would say.

Il libro si lascia leggere, guardare e "imparare" in una maniera efficace e relativamente semplice.Impaginare il testo (che si tratti di un libro o di un manifesto) è un'arte e soprattutto una saggezza.Pagine di nozioni si danno il tempo con esempi pratici; in aiuto ci sono anche delle pagine trasparenti con stampati le griglie guida per il testo – quest'ultimo elemento è un pò il marchio della collana se vogliamo (l'altro volume è Grid Systems).Consigliato a studiosi, studenti e professionisti del settore.

En quelques mots, voici un livre étonnant de part sa qualité en rapport avec son faible prix. Toute personne travaillant dans l'infographie devrait l'acquérir.

First came upon this book during a Design and Layout course - excellent book. It shows how to make typography work to its best potential and the importance of symetary for layouts. It helps educate the reader/user that negative space on the page is not a bad thing - while at the same time showing you how to give your works the WOW factor. Its a must for anyone working in design, from the fledgling to the design director. A must have for any studio!
