With O'Reilly's Hochstein & Moser book one gets a great non-crash entry point to Ansible. But when it comes to getting one's hands dirty, this one is the the book that will make the most of one's time. It provides a quick but extensive rundown through Ansible capabilities that allows one to get the view of how it is used in multiple scenarios in a short time. This is in contrast to other books, which are useful for getting deeper, but don't allow one to match the concrete toolset with the big picture quickly.

Libro ben fatto : chiaro semplice e ben spiegato. Come altri mi ha aiutato a passare la RHCE. Altamente consigliato . Unica nota negativa è che la parte di installazione andrebbe aggiornata al nuovo ansible-navigator

Muy bien escrito, ideal para aprender desde cero, los ejemplos que tiene son justitos, pero por este precio no se puede pedir mucho más.

Most authors do not know how to simplify materials. They write as if they are documenting the technology. No one wants to read massive documents. Simplified and straight to the point. This is what this book is all about. I took away 1 star because I didn't get exactly what I was looking for. Overall, it is a good solid book. I will encourage the author to write a "Mastering Ansible Cook Book" to go beyond the certification. Focus on Linux infrastructure automation (rhel 8).
