I have used several brands of unmounted cling stamps and haven’t had any trouble. I must say I really like this tool as I was never very good at freehand stamping. Placement is easy, stamping is easy and if by chance you didn’t get enough ink on the stamp the first time, you can just re-ink and re-stamp.

Q: what is included with this product?

Included are the press, which is in two parts and a set of strong magnets to hold the paper in place. I really like this product. It allows you to stamp precisely and if by chance it isn’t dark enough, allows you to re-ink and stamp in the exact same place. Instructions are on the back of the package. It uses unmounted cling stamps.

Q: What are batteries for?

Those aren't batteries. They're two little round magnets to hold your paper down when you stamp.

Q: Does this come with rubber mat

The base of the press is a rubber mat. You place your paper to be stamped on the rubber mat and it is held in place with two strong magnets. Be careful to keep your magnets apart because somehow I broke one of my magnets. Thankfully, the company sent me replacement magnets. I use this a lot and am very happy with how it works.
