10/16/2020. I purchased this so I could mount my Go Pro Wireless Remote Control on the handle bars of my motorcycle. It fit perfectly with no need to use either on the included rubber adapters to make it fit tightly on the handle bars.Once I tightened down the two screws it was clear this mount is not going to move an inch during use. The mount itself is made from composite rubber/plastic and feels very solid. The metal base is the same design as the lanyard clip that came with the remote. This ensures once the remote is connected to the mount it will be held totally secure with no chance of it coming lose and falling off.The remote itself has a small button on the backside that needs to be pushed in order to disconnect the charging cable. This button can not be reached while the remote is on this mount. On the open end of the mount is a black lever that must be pushed and held down. This will allow the metal base and the remote to slide forward and off the mount as a single unit. Now you can access the small button on the back of the remote to disengage it from the metal plate, which can then slide back onto the mount. Remember, this lever must be pushed down, not up to function.Over all it's a pretty simple yet sturdy design, well worth the money to protect your remote control from loss or damage.

I wish it was a bit larger so that it would fit my 31.6mm bars in the middle. And I wish it came with some rubber spacers to mount it on a narrower part of my bars. But with some electrical tape I was able to jimmy rig this mount to my bars. It's very convenient to have that control on the bars!

It holds good and the quality is great but notice the metallic plate slides out. By pushing up the release you get it out of the mount and then can safely remove the remote. It took me a couple of minutes to figure it out when I was unable to separate the remove off but finally it made sense.

Had hopped it might be a tighter fit to the remote slot, but it does work.

Bought this hoping to install on my motorcycle handle bars (2012 Aprilia Tuono). It fits really snug and has a small hole I was able to run safety wire through to secure it in case of failure. Makes for a great view of the GoPro controller!

I had the original mount from GoPro that cracked. So far this is better than the original with the critical components being metal

This mount really keeps the remote control in place, the option of it coming with a rubber guard for smaller/bigger handlebars is great. We first mounted it without the guards and the mount kept moving around and it kept falling, so we took it off and inserted the guards and that is exactly what it needed.

Simple cheap option to access your GoPro without starting up your phone or taking your hand off handlebar.
