Very nice Security Cam
This Security Camera ZS-GX1S PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) is an upgrade to my previous ZS-GQ3 which is a still Camera. I got them pictured on my 2nd attached photo. I upgraded to A PTZ cam so I can have a better left-right, up-down view. I bought a same brand security cam for the purpose of using the same "App". It is better to have 1 app open on both security cam which is very convenient. You can capture SD or HD videos. 3rd photo attached is a sample of indoor capture. 4th photo was taken outside, it captures clear video. 5th photo attached is view being tilted (adjusted). This is the feature i'm looking for. 6th and 7th photo where the zoom capture. I also like the 2way audio which is kinda louder than my previous Camera. It's like it has a built-in speaker inside the camera and you can scare when there is someone outside your house.Feature of the PTZ camera:Wifi connection2way AudioInfrared Night VisionMotion sensorPTZRechargable batteriesWaterproof130° Wide angleClear Videos, clear photo capture and lastly very affordable.Feb. 28, 2021UpdateI did a screenshot at night and I got a clear picture. The night Vision for me is good. The only thing is, it would be better if the camera has a lens zoom (not digital). But over all it was a great security cam for me.

Great camera, definitely recommend
We don't live in the best neighborhood; growing up we were always extremely cautious about our surroundings whenever we left home. After setting up this security camera, I do feel like our lives have become more comfortable. My dad installed the camera and the solar panel above our front door-- the set-up was fairly straight forward. Downloading and connecting the smartphone app to the camera was also relatively easy. The motion detection of this camera is especially sensitive (we all get notifications whenever the wind blows and our front yard plants sway). The camera's images are of excellent quality in day and in night. A few days ago, we were rattled by the sound of loud, consistent banging on our front door in the middle of the night. When we checked our camera, we clearly saw the video footage of one teenager wandering away from a group of 5 teenagers to bang on our door and then leave. Our camera was mounted fairly high up so we realized we were unable to see the face of anyone approaching. We adjusted our camera's location since then, and are thinking of also getting a doorbell camera. We are planning to get a 2nd camera to widen the scope of our view of the street in front of our house. Overall, this is a great product that I definitely recommend.

Good camera and no monthly fee or Alexa required
Purchased in June 2021. The main reason I chose this security camera was because a subscription service and Alexa were not required. The set up was relatively easy. CloudEdge app is easy to use and navigate. The pan-tilt-zoom is nice when you watch live feed and you have this option through the app to keep an eye on the dog, delivery person or check on other things in the yard from inside your home. (It is not an auto function, will not follow moving objects automatically.) Picture quality, wi-fi connection and battery have been good. I can't comment yet on the battery life during a midwest winter. First SD card I purchased didn't work but the second one did and it was very fast and easy to get the video up and running. The only negatives I've noticed is that the video very occasionally misses with either a late start or ends before the person is out of view and a couple times the camera angle has moved (pointing down or toward the wall) which I assume must be from strong winds as the camera is mounted too high to reach without a ladder. I would recommend this product. *I am receiving a gift in exchange for this review but no conditions were placed on that and my review contains my honest opinions.*

Perfect Pictures Created and saved
I found the WIFI set up to be great, I missed the text request for the password (I was not reading the small print right away) but once I did it connected to my Frontier Router which is listed as 5Ghz, but it also has the 2.4Ghz function which it found without any software or hardware tweaking. I am very happy that it can detect people and send a report to my cell phone, while ignoring the waving tree branches and passing cars. It came set for motion level 6, I have today moved it to 7 to pickup a walking person a little sooner, it seems to do so at maybe up to 75 feet now. I am using the SD video definition for recording setting. The HD setting probably requires much more data to transmit to your cell phone, but WOW is the HD setting ever great quality for details! The rotation function is smooth and responsive allowing a person to be brought into sight quickly. The voice coming from the camera is clear and easy to understand, I can even hear birds singing in the background through my phone when I watch an event recorded to the camera (be sure to purchase an mini SD card, I got the one recommended, 128GB and installed it. Without the SD card there is no recorded videos saved to watch, only live. The continuous live viewing is very clear, and limited only to how much battery time is available. I have found the solar panel included keeps the camera fully charged easily, after the first night (there were no events recorded) the battery was still at 100% before the sun came to the panel. I will be ordering another one for my back yard shortly.More info: The battery stays full even though I watched the videos, and live views after dark a lot of times, though I dont know how many minutes of reserve are available when the Sun is down. I am now into the second month of use, no problems encountered. First image HD setting, next SD setting for resolution.

Very powerful and very good value.
The media could not be loaded. Setting this up was easier than expected. Drilling into the bricks was the hard bit. Make sure you charge it on the mains before installation. The solar panel has a good long cable so if, like me, you do not need the full length of it, some cable clips would keep things today. They are three only thing, as well as a SD card, that is not in the box.The rotation is 355 degrees, among with vertical adjust. The intercom works easily, just like a door ring camera, and the night vision is excellent. Make sure you choose HD vision. The free Cloud Edge app is powerful but surprisingly clean in its layout. No ads! Remote control of the camera via WiFi from miles away works very well. The motion detection has 10 levels of sensitivity, and even on the highest it still only alerts for humans, without any false alarms for animals or birds. The app is highly configurable. It has survived rain very easily, but make sure you push out the inner rubber hole for the solar panel connection to the camera. This is not clear in the instructions, and will ensure water proofing. The camera uses very little power so even after days of cloudy weather the impact on the battery level is minimal. Once the sun hits the solar panel recharging is pretty quick. The only "catch" is that the cloud storage for the camera is an optional but paid extra. That said, it gives peace of mind as a backup to the SD card and at around £25 per year for unlimited storage or is not bad value at all.As a way of monitoring the house while away, without any necessary extra costs, this is superb value and has given me great peace of mind.In the picture I show the final setup, a screenshot from the app using night vision, and a video of me rotating the camera via the app over WiFi. I need practice on joysticks!

High quality Camera with solar panel and wireless connection, easy to fit
I bought this product as I wanted to monitor my garden/Garage around the house. However, I wanted one that has the Pan, Tilt, Zoom ability with wireless connection to the internet and solar connection to power it and this was a perfect fit. On unboxing I was very impressed to see how simple it was to fit, even for an amateur like me. There is a simple flat bracket with 4 screw holes that simply fixes flat back to the wall, and the camera simple "clips" on and is then secured by 4 screws. This also means that you could take it down easily if needed. However, because it comes with a Solar panel that keeps it charged (even in the cloudy current weather!) I can’t see why you would need to! I have installed it at around 8.9ft high, it has great coverage, especially at night, where the night vision comes into its own. There is no need for street lights. It does its job in perfect darkness. The High definition images are of great quality and these get saved via the easy to use CloudEdge App. The pictures/ Videos can be either saved or deleted from the App. The adjustable alert means that you can set notifications whenever motion is detected,I would highly recommend this camera, as it simply does what it should, easily and effectively.

Solar charger does not work
Camera is ok. Not brilliant resolution. The roadside is 8m (25 feet) from where the camera is mounted and car number plates are unreadable. The major issue is the solar panel charger. It stopped working after 1 week. I have now had to hard wire the system. So crawling around in loft space to the eaves of my house was not fun.UPDATEFollow up support emails from Amanda regarding the solar panel was excellent. I was offered a replacement or a refund. I’ve changed my review to 3 stars because of Amanda’s customer support.

High Quality, Strong, Looks Nice
This is a perfect camera. Bought this with a few to protection. The camera is of excellent build quality, quite heavy weight and very sturdy. What is amazing about the camera is the capabilities. It can rotate 360 Degrees, Infrared night vision and you can control this from the app itself. The PZR is a great perk. It is has excellent motion sensors. The app used to download images videos is excellent and very user friendly. This camera does not record 24/7 it records only when the motion sensors are triggered. Ideal to catch any suspicious activity rather than having to trawl through hours and hours of footage. You basically set the position of where you want protection and each time someone moves it catches a video takes screenshots and notifies you. I would highly recommend this product to anyone in market for a sturdy CCTV. The solar panel is working perfectly and keeps the camera charged. Very eco friendly rather and environmentally friendly. IP65 Rating meaning rain or bad weather will not damage CCTV.

Easy to set up & install, good quality images/video
I have an Arlo system of some three years' standing. It has been good, but the battery consumption of £60-80 a year for three cameras, plus the system's propensity to 'unsync' the cameras is an irritation. I looked around and saw this. Good reviews convinced me it was worth the investment, especially on Prime Day, with the solar powered aspect particularly of interest. The system is easy to install and set up, and delivers high quality images and video. Better coverage and quality than my existing Arlo system, for sure, although that is first generation. The app took a bit of getting to grips with, but I am happy. I have retained the Arlo system, but employ it in low trigger areas, so as to reduce battery usage. I would happily recommend this new system to anybody, although longevity is something I cannot yet speak to. Technology is constantly improving, and this is a definite improvement on what I had. UPDATE: As of 16 December 2021, still happy, but an issue that I had may help others. I ultimately employed a WiFi extender, due to erratic alert image sending caused by sub-optimal WiFi signal strength. Some two/three weeks after I swapped over to the BT extender, the camera was sending alert images but I couldn't view videos via the phone app, nor could I get establish a connection to the camera to view settings. I reset the camera, then got nothing as it wouldn't connect to the network. I thought it had failed, although I could see it was fully charged (blue status light) and that it was starting up (slow flashing red light). As an idea, because there is no such advice/guidance available in the manual or elsewhere, I then went through the add camera setup on the phone app and the camera was reconnected. All good. I would still recommend this product.
