Good quality ink
My Epson printer is a few years old now and I’m glad this ink cartridge is still made. One of these days I’ll have to buy a new printer but I’m putting it off as long as I can. I do like Epson products and these cartridges are very easy to change. The color is bright and consistent. Seem to last a fair amount of time, even when printing photos.

That the good Epson ink 288XL 2,5x I need for my home printer is available in Staples!
I really should have ordered the 2,5 x more capacity, not the Epson 288XL. That was my mistake. Also, I was looking in Staples to find the identical printer just in case mine breaks down. It is not available anymore. The new small home printers are a new generation of printers with a totally different set of cartridges. Anyhow, my printer, thanks be to God, still works, for which I am very grateful. The ink is very good quality and dries quickly which is important when sheet after sheet comes out of the printer.

Oops!
I've had my printer for several years. When it arrived, I found it was defective. Epson sent a replacement and told me to just discard the defective one. Recently, I purchased a complete set of new printer cartridges. I always use "real" Epson cartridges. The day after they arrived, and before I had a chance to replace any, the printer died from a severe, incurable paper jam. Printers don't last forever. I bought a new Epson. Now, I have a set of cartridges (they are not inexpensive) that don't fit my new printer.
